I think the manufacturer could improve the joints on this arch so as to help stability. As a lady do it myself, I was able to dig, measure and set the bottom 10 inches of frame on cedar boards, with upright boards zip tied to the frame. I did not like burying this part of frame knowing it would rust. It is pretty stable now and I really like this arch even with the hassel of setting it up. The sweet peas will have no trouble climbing the scroll work and I did a paint spray sealer to prevent rust which is commented on in the negative reviews. ... show more

Easy to assemble, beautiful shape and despite not being the strongest of steel bars, it has held up to some crazy storms this summer. I watched it bending with the wind during the last bout of tornado warnings but as soon as everything rolled out I came out to find it still holding strong and unphased. I just love the little bit of whimsy this adds to the entrance my little wildlife garden area. ... show more

It’s not gonna last years and years. Some rust right off the bat. Will probably last 3 years before it gets too worn out. Also it has a good 8inch gap between sections the vine has to span before getting to the upper section

Starting some new climbing roses and this is their new home. Creating a cottage garden and this is the main attraction. May need rebar reinforcement on the base to secure it from falling from the weight (eventually). I’m optimistic, ha.

It only took me 15 minutes to assemble. I was short 3 screws but I had extra, so this was not a problem for me.

This is a replacement for one I purchased at Amazon years ago. The old trellis was heavier and lasted a long time. This new one looks very nice at the end of my walkway. I am pleased with my purchase. Would Recommend.
