A lot for the money, but with with the labor and headaches of assembly. First, assemble on a smooth flat floor surface, not a carpeted surface. Second, screw the top and bottom shelves (A) to the top / bottom dividers (E) BEFORE sliding them onto the middle shelves (B) dowels. Coat the large screw threads with any wax or petroleum jelly lubricant to prevent damage to the particle board and use a long shaft phillips screwdriver to drive the screws more easily. Finally, for strength I recommend applying glue to the back particle board edges before attaching the three back panels (D) to firmly rack the assembly together. ... show more

I never know what to expect from flat-pack furniture--especially at this price point--but I was pleasantly surprised by this. It was easy to assemble, and once together, was very sturdy and really feels like a piece of higher-quality furniture. It's beautiful in the space I have it (I bought the one in "Griege"), and the baskets are NOT included, which gives you the opportunity to purchase 11x11 storage cubes in whatever colors/styles float your boat (I did a white cube with colorful coral and WOW). I would feel confident recommending this to anyone. One note: be VERY CAREFUL when putting on the back pieces. When you're tapping your nails, they'll shift, so I recommend tapping in lightly first (not all the way) and getting everything realigned before you go whole-hog. Have fun! ... show more
