I debated between the black and the copper. I have a family room/kitchen open floor plan with predominately black hardware and a black mantle on the fire place. I chose the copper, based on other reviews. I'm so glad I did- it really looks elegant and adds a nice contrasting touch. I have some copper pots/pans/ tea kettle and some decorative plates I swap out when decorating the mantle that compliment the screen. The screen is heavy and good quality. The copper has a distressed/old look which looks nice with the black hardware and mantle. It's not a super shiny copper, so it blends in rather than stands out. It looks more expensive than it was. I contacted Best Choice Products to report that we did not receive our product even though FedEx claimed to have delivered it.
