I got this as a Christmas present for our grandson. He loves pretend playing of the drums, and I think this is going to be perfect for him. Note that there is no built in speaker, and only a headphone jack, with small type headphones. Now I think I will have to search for a portable type speaker, or better headphones for it.

I'll update once we release this kraken on the family at XMAS! My son used to be an avid drummer, but ran out of space and time to play. Hope this cheers him up and he can use this the same was I use the "thrash guitars" I used to get from thrift stores when I was on the road. (good enough to thrash and keep my hand in...never intended to be a 'quality instrument' but still a lot of fun)

When you first turn it on, all the time, you will need to adjust the volume. All the time you turn it off, you will have to do this. The sticks are for a kid, I just couldn’t figure out why the way I held them just didn’t feel right. You get so much with this. Everything work great on the plug-in side of things. I connect to a speaker because even though you get earphones, volume control in ear is hard because of when you first turn it on it always starts on loud. The sticks come with rubber tips. These tips will also fit standard size drumsticks. The foot pedal works pretty good. Comes with instructions. I love the fact that this is portable and I can now have something to play along with my portable piano.

Utterly speechless - how did I miss that this did not come with a speaker - just wired 3.5mm jacked headset output? - it does state “speakers can be attached” but who still has speakers with 3.5mm jacks lying around? - Yes it is nice that one CAN plug in headsets to shut off the drumming but one may want to hear it too. For that it shows a picture of nice headphones but it comes with the cheapest of wired little ear butts. So 1990s. Lastly, the drums (types) are not labeled, so one has to guess, then learn which color goes with what drum sound. I didn’t even unpack this set - it will go to goodwill immediately, maybe someone can use it; I don’t! (without extra purchase of headset and speaker) - And all that at a much steeper price than other sets that do have a speaker. WOW! 🌟Verdict🌟 => 2 STARS: price to value - missing speaker only in very small print and no nice headset but a cheap wired ear butt; so last generation. ⭐️ -> (*My RATE SCALE*: 5=perfect; 4=minor imperfections; 3=on fence; not sure if I’d buy again; 2= too many problems; 1= shouldn’t be sold or is dangerous).

These make a great gift! Especially for someone that already has a speaker to hook this up to. Great for quieter drumming toys. They can hook up wired headphones for personal sessions. Just be sure their speaker has the capabilities to hook up to this or gift this with a bluetooth transmitter. They're fairly inexpensive and can slip right into the box.

This electronic drum set is great for drummers of all stages. Great for learning as well. It's lod enough to hear but not annoy others. Pretty decent sound quality. Comes with all that's needed. A/C powered.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this electronic drum set because my husband and I like to play the drums or should I say he likes to play with them and I just like to make noise. It is pretty easy to use and has decent sound depending on what you connect it to. It has demos built in and has a button that allows you to change the sounds that the drums make. However, the 3.5 mm jack on the back could have been thought out a little better. Finding a speaker to connect it to was a bit of a challenge. Overall though it is loads of fun.
