I bought this to wear as my wedding dress and just HAD to try it on as soon as I got it in. I LOVE THIS DRESS. Super adorable, and once you get past the weird little material catch on the zipper, it makes you feel so beautiful. Although that zipper usually takes two people to do, so prepare for that. The catch is between two materials, so someone has to hold the sides just tight while the other teases the zipper through. But honestly, I felt like this dress was perfect for the price point, and it looked beautiful on me. I'm a little on the heavier side, so finding pretty dresses seemed like it would be so much harder than it was. This dress fit the bill and fit in such a way that I felt comfortable and gorgeous. Nice enough dress for the price. Even with finicky zipper. Just have another I like better for fit & fashion. I ordered size XL, ( first time in my life) I've never been this size so still adjusting. Was always a size 6 or 8. Anyway, I' did order & receive the XL very quickly shipped. The Lg probably more fitting for my 5'-4" stature. 165 lbs. Chest size 40 1/2" ~ Waist 37! Yikes. Hips 41" also yikes. The length of dress puddled just a wee bit on the floor barefoot. So heals on probably would make length perfect. I think if I were thinner this would really have worked for my mother of the groom dress. A little plain but easily fancied up with accessories. Happy Shopping. ... show more

At 5’6” and 165 lbs, this dress was very flattering for my large butt and large thigh figure (I’ve always been slimmer on top). I wore it as a bridesmaids dress and was even able to hide my early pregnancy (which is harder to do early on with the 5th pregnancy!) It was a pain to iron, but I started out on super low heat and slowly got warmer and warmer until I found the right temperature and once I figured that out, it went pretty quick. As picture and it feels really soft and fragile. My daughter is 4’9 and 115lbs and got XS and fits just right. If you weigh more I’d suggest size Small. Just tried on and haven’t worn to event yet. If anything changes I’ll edit review.
