This is my 7th time ordering purple now and this time the color is completely different. The purple is much much darker than previously and has a bit of a glossy finish. It’s pretty and I will use it but just beware the purple it may end up not matching the photo shown

I'm very happy with this and would buy again. Buying items like this online can be risky for me because quality and texture is hard to discern in photos, and I'm picky. I also really dislike returning things, so I usually eat the cost of things that aren't up to my standards. Thank goodness this was exactly what I wanted! I'd bought some similar raffia at a craft store before buying this, and while that ribbon, I prefer this. because it's more consistent in texture and width and has a higher quality look overall. I use raffia as a ribbon around a kraft tuck box as gift wrap for my online shop. I wanted something natural and biodegradable - I hate contributing excess plastic waste to our waterways.
