This spool of ribbon was not inexpensive. I really find it difficult to spend that much for ribbon and can't feel good about it. I've always used curling ribbon to wrap presents and we're talking about at least 5 decades. This ribbon is a far cry from ribbon that I've used over the years. It is now so thin with such poor definition of the ribbing on the ribbon, that it's noticeable. I hate to have to live with a lower quality than I've used over time. Especially when I am paying so much money for it. Just as well, in some ways, time to start thinking about losing the paper wrapping and go with fabric and reuse.

This ribbon is 3/16th inch, I prefer the standard ribbon which is 1/4". 0ne Sixteenth of an inch difference doesn't sound like much but in the world of ribbon width it makes a huge difference. This also seems like very thin ribbon. It does curl though. This ribbon in picture is white on left, while normal ribbon (1/4" width) not purchased here is green on right for comparison.

This curling ribbon has worked great for me and I have purchased this brand in several colors. People seem to be saying that it doesn't curl well but I haven't had that problem at all. Just a quick run over the edge of the scissors and the curls are tight and consistent. I am very happy with this product and will likely pick up a few more colors over time.

Ok, I was lazy. I needed this for a present and just didn't have time to go to the store. This ribbon works great, its exactly as you'd expect but it is expensive. Given I still have this three years later and still enough to wrap presents, but they also have the same exact spool and brand at the dollar store. If you need this right away you can buy on here, if not, go to your local store and save some money.

This is a great value.. Lots of uses that I didn't think of when ordering. I used these to tie ribbon for cookie bags and that's my main reason for purchasing. I also used for balloons because mylar balloons you buy online does not have ribbon most of the time and that's a must. That is one thing I never thought of. I used these to tie my son's party favor bags as well. It's very easy to curl if you choose to curl the ribbon and great quality. You will have a lot of uses out of it. I went back and ordered another color.

It is not curling ribbon you remember. I bought 2 rolls, different colors and used one with effort. The 2nd one is useless. It did not wind on spool correctly, tightens and turns into tight thread like ribbon. 2nd roll has issues but so far; i can unroll it. I've repeatedly cut close to where I think its bound to have it do it again & again. Im determined to use what I can but time is money too. Waste of both.
