I spent a long time trying to find the perfect bag, and in the end, this was the one I chose. I am so happy to say it did not dissapoint! Not only is it beautiful, it is functional. Sometimes purses have too many pockets for me and it actually makes it harder to stay organized. A couple of years ago I got a cross shoulder Baggallini, and there were just WAY too many pockets, zippers and compartments. It drove me nuts! However the design of the Siena Berliner purse is perfect for me. This bag is so functional, and it makes it easy for me to stay organized. It's not too big and not too small. The way it is designed allows me to see all the way to the bottom, so I can find things easily. I also love the zippered pockets, and the large magnetic side pocket is just perfect for when I'm on the go and need easy access. it also has a compartment for your phone, and two pen holders which I love because I always need pens and can never find them because they get lost. Now let's talk about looks...It's gorgeous!! It is made out of real leather, and is a beautiful rich brown. I also love the smell of it. Not only does it have the smell of genuine leather, but I also keep my perfume oil in it, so it is starting to smell like that too, which is just awesome. This bag is also very soft and smooth. I know it will just keep getting softer and more supple as the years go by. I did watch a video made by Berliner about caring for the leather, which I still need to do, but I will absolutely do it because I love it so much, and I want the leather to stay beautiful and be protected so it lasts, cause it's worth it! The only critique I have is that because of the way it was packed during shipping, the bottom is a wee bit squished on one side, as you'll see in the video review I made. It still stands upright when I set it down, and does not slouch over because of it, so, I'm okay with it. However, if you are a perfectionist when it comes to this type of thing, you might be dissapointed. The way I see it is they have to pack the bag for shipping somehow, and they're doing the best they can, as how they did it is obviously the most efficient method. The only way to avoid this is to buy it from an actual store, and there aren't any around here that I know of that sell this bag. Is it kind of a bummer? Yes.. but I just love it way too much for this to stop me from keeping it. And I'm not kidding...I genuinely feel love for this purse! I know that might sound strange, but since I've been using it my life has become easier because it helps me stay organized. I don't lose my keys anymore! Speaking of that, the leather pouch and keychain strap are just perfect for me. It is made with care, and designed to be easy to deal with. I use it every time I get home, and it's solved the problem of losing my keys and running around like a crazy woman trying on find them. It's been hard for me to get into the habit of attaching my keys to straps in other purses or backpacks I've had, but this one just works like a charm for me! So, if you've been eyeing this and are going back and forth with it because of the price or whatever else, I think you should go ahead and take the leap. It was pricey for me and more than I usually like to spend, but it was SO worth it! It's honestly one of, if not my all time favorite purse I've ever had in my life, and the best thing is, it's made to last and I plan on carrying it for years to come. 😊 ... show more

This sienna Berliner bag was a nice surprise. I just wanted a well-constructed nicely made simple everyday bag. I've bought plenty of fancy looking, inexpensive, seemingly durable bags that were garbage within a year. Linings ripped, exteriors cracked and scratched and I was just sick of it. I was willing to pay a little more just for a nice well thought out, practical leather tote style bag. I prefer a crossbody because I can't always hold the bag with my hand and it's convenient just to have it draping off the shoulder or across the body. I love the bag's sturdy hardware and zippers. The ample, adjustable length and sturdy lining of the shoulder strap. The one thing not mentioned in the description is the large exterior pocket on one side which does not have a zipper but it is magnetic at the top so that will give you some added security if you have a notebook or paper you want to keep in that pocket for easy access. I love the key strap no more fishing around for my keys and it's long enough that it reaches my keyhole on my house door. I like the placement of the two interior pen holder loops and the nicely sized cell phone pocket. I would have liked maybe one more small zippered pocket along the inside perimeter. I also would have liked some gromitted feet on the underside of the bag to protect it from wear and tear as long as possible. I would definitely coat it with a nice oil to protect it from rain spots and preserve the leather. I will honestly,highly recommend this bag if you are looking for something of genuine leather that is sturdy, functional, simple yet attractive and of good common sense design. ... show more

I still love everything about this bag! It is well organized with pockets and zippered compartments and has a place for all accessories. This is a major upgrade from my tiny bags that I used to carry. But the weight is not a problem wearing it crossbody when out and about. It is durable, color and leather still gorgeous and soft, and the zippers are hefty and beautiful. I added a couple of items: a pencil case (use for toothbrush, toothpaste, lip balm and brush) and a wallet, and the wallet fits perfectly down inside where the cell phone pocket is for an easy find. I use the key lanyard for the change purse and key ring. It travels extremely well. I've been using it daily for over a year with no issues. Thank you. ... show more

What a beautiful bag. The material is so nice and high quality. The care put into making it is so evident. The problem I had is that the strap is so long. It is adjustable but I nearly had to double it up to let the bag hit at my hip (I’m 5’6!) and not near my knees. Doubled up the adjustment buckle on the strap was on my shoulder.
