this bag exceeds my expectations (ok, ok, i wish it was just a tad smaller, but at least i don't have to remove items to get something out). very, very well made. generous length for the strap. everything -- material, hardware -- very high quality. also comes w/a key ring thank you very much. i saw some reviews felt the bag was rather stiff, but i'm positive this will soften over the years. i really don't consider it 'stiff' as this bag is meant to last & to be used a lot. color is as shown. this is one of those bags you can use for decades. i'm also happy the strap is removable, as i purchased a strap from sundance years ago that i use on a lot of my brown handbags & it will look great on this one. i would not hesitate to purchase another berliner bag. very stylish & made to last & look even better as they age.

Love this leather bag for its looks, quality workmanship, sturdy zippers, and minimalist design. You can tell immediately that it is made of real leather-no guessing needed. It has a place for all the essentials making it a snap to find what I'm looking for. A fun feature I've appreciated is the small coin purse (also made of leather) attached to a leather strap inside the bag. It's great for stashing things I use frequently like lip moisturizer, breath mints and other small stuff that usually disappear somewhere at the bottom. I like that the bag keeps its form when I set it down so it protects items inside (like a book or something that shouldn't be bent). It even holds my 1 Liter insulated water bottle so it stays upright which surprised me since the bag doesn't look that large. The cross body strap when it is adjusted to its shortest length hangs just at my waist (I'm 5'7") and is comfortable enough to wear over the shoulder leaving my hands free for other things. Strap looks like it's built to last (made of real leather and strong canvas). That's important to me since the handle strap is where most of the wear and tear happens. The Berlin bear logo on front is cute. I'm super pleased with this bag!

Excellent quality bag. Have been using it a few weeks and all the hardware works well, zippers are smooth. Strap works for crossbody or shoulder. Holds everything you need. Comfortable and cute! Feels like a high quality bag, will purchase other products from Berliner.

I absolutely love this bag. I was looking for a good leather pocketbook. When I first got it I thought it might be too big for me. I’m 5’3” but it isn’t. It looks good. It is very well made and I think it will last forever. The leather seems like a very good quality. The strap is sturdy and all the zippers and connections are well made. It hasjust the right amount of compartments and the little attached change purse I’d handy. The only thing I would change is to have a snap on the large pocket on the back of the bag which would make it more secure. But the overall quality and look of the bag is so good that I wouldn’t deduct a star for that. Maybe a half star if I could. The bottom was folded when it arrived so I put some packing paper in it and stood it up for a couple of days and that issue was resolved. And oh the smell of the leather!!

The media could not be loaded. I spent a long time trying to find the perfect bag, and in the end, this was the one I chose. I am so happy to say it did not dissapoint! Not only is it beautiful, it is functional. Sometimes purses have too many pockets for me and it actually makes it harder to stay organized. A couple of years ago I got a cross shoulder Baggallini, and there were just WAY too many pockets, zippers and compartments. It drove me nuts! However the design of the Siena Berliner purse is perfect for me. This bag is so functional, and it makes it easy for me to stay organized. It's not too big and not too small. The way it is designed allows me to see all the way to the bottom, so I can find things easily. I also love the zippered pockets, and the large magnetic side pocket is just perfect for when I'm on the go and need easy access. it also has a compartment for your phone, and two pen holders which I love because I always need pens and can never find them because they get lost. Now let's talk about looks...It's gorgeous!! It is made out of real leather, and is a beautiful rich brown. I also love the smell of it. Not only does it have the smell of genuine leather, but I also keep my perfume oil in it, so it is starting to smell like that too, which is just awesome. This bag is also very soft and smooth. I know it will just keep getting softer and more supple as the years go by. I did watch a video made by Berliner about caring for the leather, which I still need to do, but I will absolutely do it because I love it so much, and I want the leather to stay beautiful and be protected so it lasts, cause it's worth it! The only critique I have is that because of the way it was packed during shipping, the bottom is a wee bit squished on one side, as you'll see in the video review I made. It still stands upright when I set it down, and does not slouch over because of it, so, I'm okay with it. However, if you are a perfectionist when it comes to this type of thing, you might be dissapointed. The way I see it is they have to pack the bag for shipping somehow, and they're doing the best they can, as how they did it is obviously the most efficient method. The only way to avoid this is to buy it from an actual store, and there aren't any around here that I know of that sell this bag. Is it kind of a bummer? Yes.. but I just love it way too much for this to stop me from keeping it. And I'm not kidding...I genuinely feel love for this purse! I know that might sound strange, but since I've been using it my life has become easier because it helps me stay organized. I don't lose my keys anymore! Speaking of that, the leather pouch and keychain strap are just perfect for me. It is made with care, and designed to be easy to deal with. I use it every time I get home, and it's solved the problem of losing my keys and running around like a crazy woman trying on find them. It's been hard for me to get into the habit of attaching my keys to straps in other purses or backpacks I've had, but this one just works like a charm for me! So, if you've been eyeing this and are going back and forth with it because of the price or whatever else, I think you should go ahead and take the leap. It was pricey for me and more than I usually like to spend, but it was SO worth it! It's honestly one of, if not my all time favorite purse I've ever had in my life, and the best thing is, it's made to last and I plan on carrying it for years to come. 😊

This is a very nice leather bag. It's a bit large for my liking so I have to watch what I put in it so that it doesn't get overloaded as the bag is heavy. I'm also short so I have the crossbody strap as short as I can get it and it's still too long. I only carry crossbody bags but had to add a new shorter handle to this. The craftsmanship is excellent and should last for years. I haven't traveled with it yet but not sure I would want to carry this around all day. Over all it's a very nice bag.
