It's a good product. The shipping was fast. I used it in Crappie fishing with fluorocarbon leader. It creates less stress and has a long casting. I also can feel a light bite from small crappie. I recommend this product to people who love fishing.

    • My favorite line
Style: 6lb Test Size: 6lb - 164 yd Color: Flame Green
My favorite line thus far. Wind knots are not common with this line. Strong and casts for miles.

    • It's like fine thread
Style: 6lb Test Size: 6lb - 164 yd Color: Flame Green
Upon filling up my ultralight spinning reel with this #6 braid, I was impressed with its micro diameter and suppleness. I've fished with it and am happy with its performance. The only trouble with it is that it catches on rough things, mainly my fingers. The skin on my fingers can get rough from fishing, gardening, etc, and I found that when I'm tying a knot with this line, it can catch on a rough spot and run. Just like a nylon stocking. If you're not careful you can ruin a length of line when working with it. I don't like this fact, but I do like the line. I'm keeping it. ... show more

    • Says this is a good casting braid but it is awful.
Review Image by Steven S. Colberg
The attached photo is the result of two casts from brand new X9 6# braid that I put on my spinning reel yesterday on the river. Complete garbage line if you ask me. In addition to not casting as advertised the braids themselves fray out with just the brush of rough skin. I will never buy this product again based completely on its performance. ... show more

    • Good product but will wait to see how durable it is
So far a great product for jigging walleye on the Detroit river. I will re-review later if this product has the mystery breaks like the fire line crystal:::::

    • Wind knot city!
Style: 6lb Test Size: 6lb - 2188 yd Color: Flame Green

NOTE: this applies to the 6lb test version. I have not used other weights. PROS: long casts, small diameter, ok durability, advertised strength (but just barely, not stronger than advertised like most braids). CONS: WIND KNOTS!!#() Also, the diameter is so fine that it'll slip out through the gaps in eyelits of wire hooks. It just plain wears out from abrasion through normal use, so you need to keep an eye on it. Knots are touchy and need to be tested regularly. I'm sure there's some application where this line works well, but its propensity for wind knots makes it pretty much unusable for me. I've tried it in multiple (spinning) reels and I always get the same result. Not worth the small casting advantage. ... show more

    • Not a fan
On my reel it sticks to itself. When it’s reeled in, it sticks and won’t let me recast it out without it sticking together on the reel. It links up pretty bad. Not sure why it would do that? Maybe bad? Not sure?
