  • I was skeptical….I was wrong to be!!!!
Just bought a second bottle of these! These things work! It’s great to not have to worry about dealing with live worms. No need to make a special drive to buy live worms before fishing. If I want to try worms I pull these out and fish hit them like crazy. In fact yesterday, I had one on a hook suspended under a bobber just off the dock I was fishing from. I knew there was at least one rock bass hanging out under me and I wanted to see if he’d hit it. Well, all of the sudden my line was hit hard! It was a huge bass. I couldn’t get my net in time and after a few jumps, it snapped my 10lbs test line. It was a monster! Update! Hauled in a 3.75# smallmouth bass on these today! ... show more

  • Great alternative to the real thing and BlueGill LOVE them! Worth it for sure!
These are awesome! I enjoy going to the little creek in the apartment and catching small bluegill and live bait isn't worth the price when I only use maybe 10 worms a day. With these, I don't have to worry about keeping live worms around in an apartment and they work great! The nice thing is they stay on the hook better and don't seem to be nibbled away by the small fish like live worms. They are harder to hook because they are a little rubbery but it's not that bad. You can also easily pinch them between your finger nails and cut them down if you don't want a full worm. I'll be keeping these on hand for my kayak trips on the rivers for backup since I'd use a full can of worms on those trips. ... show more

  • Solid Bait, But not Magical
These guys work alright, but not “just as good as a real worm” as some people have said. They’re smelly and they get the job done, so if you’re fishing somewhere that’s not too pressured then they’re a great thing to have on hand. They’re mostly good for the convenience since you don’t have to go buy new worms every time you feel like doing a little fishing. The fish seem to like them and be somewhat attracted, but a smart fish still won’t eat dumb bait, so know your spot before assuming these will automatically fix your lack of catches. Ultimately I’d recommend these for the convenience alone, but don’t expect to have life changing results. ... show more

  • Try it, I did and biggest brown trout I ever caught
Okay, I'm not a person to write a review or give a star, but this product deserves it. Why, well here is why. Fishing with a friend, he using live worms, me using floating Berkley power bait. After a hour of fishing, bam be catches a beautiful rainbow trout, me not even a nibble (it happens, right). I dropped the idea using Berkley floating power bait and switched to Berkley Earthworm (just one on a #8 hook) I haven't even opened the jar yet. Not kidding, 15 minutes later I hooked the biggest brown trout I've very caught. The gentleman next to me fishing that day was blown away after using every power bait in his tackle box and on way home to buy, including my friend Berkley Earthworm (I'm not kidding). True story! Now am I saying it will work every time, no every fisherman knows that. But hey if they aren't biting why not try a Berkley Earthworm. Worked for me! Boy that sounds like a commercial LOL. ... show more

  • Works okay, but not as durable as I hoped
I’ve caught a few fish using these worms, so they do work, but they don’t seem to last very long. After a couple of casts, they start to break apart, especially if the fish are biting a lot. The scent definitely attracts fish, and the size is just right for my setup, but I wish they were a bit tougher so I didn’t have to replace them so often. Good for short trips, but not my first choice for all-day fishing. ... show more

  • Sunfish love em!
Worth it! They have good scent (and not so bad some hand sanitizer cleans it off the fingers!) fish in the ponds around my house love em. Always get a 1 - 2 nibble then I set on them and whammo hookups have been good. Bass and a bunch of other sun fish (blue gill, green gills) for me so far.

  • Don't buy!
Stunk to high heaven when opened and dead. Earthworms mean live worms. Threw it out.

  • The fish do like it
I'm new to fishing at 32yo and teaching myself, so while i wasn't able to catch a fish yet, they do nibble on this bait and one fish stole it because i reeled it back one time in and the fake worm was gone. I think I just needed to use larger hooks because I was fishing in the Potomac river which has a lot of big catfish species (blue and flathead) and I saw a couple huge fish breeching nearby. But yes, they do seem attracted to the bait enough to steal it from the hook. This is a great product if you're scared of handling real worms like me. Real worms have a scent that attracts fish, so the fact that this smells like something they're also attracted to is perfect. Also, you get six little containers for the cheap price, not just one small container. So definitely worth buying. Only complaint is i wish the worms were a little thicker because it's slightly difficult to get them on the hook since they're so narrow, but the fake worms are strong and stretchy just like real worms so they're hard to break. ... show more
