I know it's not a cheap toy for a toddler, but it's really worth it. The mechanism for them to pedal forward and backward is incredible; the car is on the heavy side BUT they just need a little push (even by themselves) and once they gain inertia, the pedaling is easier. My daughter really ENJOYS going out in her car; it took her two rides to learn the mechanics of the pedal. It's super sturdy and super easy to assemble (although you need some space to do it). The design of the steering wheel and suspension is smart and allows them to do turns wherever they want and to go into bumps without hesitation. I'll be a BERG customer for life! ... show more

Good quality, very easy to assemble, looks great and my son really enjoyed it! I did a lot of research before buying this product and I think for the price/quality ratio, it's the best choice on the market! My opinion is that the BERG Pedal Go Kart is much better than the slow electric plastic cars that kids get bored of on the second day. It's really worth it!     • Very good pedal cart, just a bit short of great.

The cart looks great! No cheap plastic fru-fru. The transmission is awesome and works like a charm, the frame is well designed and made and quite stout while being easy enough to be taken down for moving the cart in your car to the park or storing it, and the inflatable tires are spot on even if the plastic wheels are not the best. My only real gripes are that only one rear wheel is driven and effected by the brake. The way this is made, it would have been easy to have a single rear axle linking both rear wheels so both would be driven and braked taking this car into the realm of greatness. My other gripe is that the seat (which is adequate if not particularly good) does not adjust far enough forward for my 4 year old (who it was bought for) to be able to reach the pedals well enough to power it (another inch and a half and it would work). The boy is not pleased with Santa this year. His 10 year old sister has driven it all over the neighborhood and loves it though, even if she looks funny with her knees sticking out to the side because it is too little for her. ... show more

I picked this up for my six-year-old daughter’s birthday. Assembly was easier than I expected and I did not need any of my own tools to complete it. I do recommend filling the tires up with air before installing them because the valve stems are on the inside of the tire. It is surprisingly fast and delivers a very smooth ride.
