This is a pretty nice net. The construction is good. The handle comes in two sections and is lockable with a quick twist of the wrist. The closure is also made of metal and does a good job of locking the handle where you put it. Overall length is 8'5" from the end of the handle to the edge of the net. The net has a rubber feel to it and should help to keep hooks from getting stuck in it. I particularly like the flat bottom of the net. It helps in keeping the fish from wrapping the net around themselves and that makes it easier for me to remove the fish from the net. The net comes in a nice, zipping cover that is great for storage and transport. Unfortunately, the handle cannot be assembled to the net when using the cover. You could put just the net section in the bag and then secure it to the handle but it won't fit very well in in my opinion. Overall, I like the net and plan to put it into use very soon.

This fishing net is awesome..I think. I don't fish and just got this in case a pet or person falls in the lake and have to rescue them and/or use as a pool skimmer so reviewing this is probably a little out of my _depth_ but I will say it is very well made - the net seems very strong and durable and rugged and will last quite a while and the pole is pretty light weight and was very easy to put together.

This net is perfect replacement for my old style net. This one has a good open ring for lots of different fish. Strong net and quality knots. The main us is the extension handle. Makes it easier to stow away and assist in reaching the water without bending over.

I have a foldable net I keep in my boat, but I have never been very impressed with it. One of the problems with it is it has a nylon net and I have a problems getting hooks stuck in it that are hard to remove. I've been looking for a rubber net for quite some time, so I decided to order this one and give it a try. This is pretty large net as you can see in the picture. Much larger net than I normally use. It also comes with a storage bag that you can use if you remove the handle. The netting material is attached to the ring of the net through a slot in the ring. It's not woven around the ring like other fishing nets I have seen. It's as though the ring has been rolled to a semicircle and then net inserted into that. I don't know if this is going to be a weak point or not, but it appears to be strong enough.
