I truly love the Bentgo product line. Honestly I tried other versions that were like Bentgo, but they just didn't hold or function as well as the actual Bentgo brand so now I just buy Bentgo only. It's totally worth it. I also reviewed the matching Bentgo bag in case you are interested to carry this in a cute perfectly sized matching bag. I love this container but please check your sizes. The classic isn't a big container so some leftovers may not work out so well. Its great for fruits, cheese, nuts, smaller snackable items. They hold up well for washing and are very secure. I love that these match the Bentgo bag that I bought. I think I am going to also buy the bigger container - something larger for bigger salads or left over dinner. Just buy this, I think you will love it. (Just check the container size to make sure that its big enough for what you plan to put inside)

My daughter loves this for school. She is a teenager that likes to take leftovers, and this works perfectly. It separates items until she is ready to mix things together (like curry with rice). So far no leaks, but we haven't really tested it with soupy liquids. I doubt it would hold for that, as it doesn't have any way to be watertight (no inner seals, etc.). Cleanup is a breeze - washes easily, but I also put it in the dishwasher on the top rack. All in all - good size, easy cleanup and works perfect for our use.

Okay I was super iffy about this product, due to all the negative reviews and let me just say I have no idea what they are talking about. I and my husband absolutely love our sets in fact we’re probably buying another set soon. It holds 2 meals for me personally breakfast in my top layer lunch in my second my husband uses his top layer for snacks & fruits and the bottom layer for his lunch. And the band around it holds it very tight and secure the silverware is pretty good too it does the job as for one video I seen complaining the silverware does not fit back in the original spot it does she was putting it in wrong it needs to be placed backwards from setting position.

This is the prefect size for me to take to work! I’ll be able to bring a mid-morning snack along with my lunch no problem. There are a few things buyers should be aware of though. 1. The product states it is dishwasher and microwave safe, however, the Care Note provided with the box states: “It is NOT recommit dishwash or microwave the Bentgo top lid, divider, or sealing strap.” The main containers are dishwasher safe, which is great but not all pieces. 2. The top container lid does not seal without the strap holding it together. I would not label this as a leak proof product. Overall, a great lunch box and cute colors.

OK, so I've been looking for a stackable lunch box and this one really fit my bill. So far the amount of room is totally fine, it does not have a latching system so if you're rough with your lunch boxes in transit consider getting another one of the seal bands for it. This is not a throw it in your book bag lunch box. Besides that because of the lack of latches if your food has a strong odor you will be able to smell it. Fish, kimchi, anything fragrant you're gonna be able to smell it so if that bothers you, something to consider. Lastly this is not going to be for your saucy or soupy food, the bottom container doesn't have the rubber sealer on it so I do not suggest any Currys or soup like things in this particular lunch box. Other than that super easy to clean, the cutlery is a decent size and the latches for the cutlery are very secure and easy to remove. Happy snacking!

I like this except for the shape of the fork. It is too blunt and the tines are to close together for it to effectively spear food. The first thing I packed in this container was pasta salad and every time I tried to get a piece of pasta the fork would just split it in half. I know that this might sound nitpicky but with how well everything else is designed the ineffective fork is a bit of a letdown.

I really like this. Better for adults or older kids. Not leak proof, great for salads or less messy foods. I wouldn't recommend for younger kids, as the stacking and band can be a challenge for my elementary aged kids. The design has held up well to heavy use. No chips or dings despite being dropped a few times. All fits together well after dishwasher (top shelf). The elastic has also done well over several years of use. It washes up nicely, too!

I attach my lunchbox with this bento box inside to my backpack and bike to school so everything probably bumps around in there. With that in mind, know… The lids don’t click together but the band holds everything in place. Liquids will leak a bit if you’re not keeping it upright in your bag (I put yogurt in the bottom and some moisture got out of the box). The divider at the top doesn’t keep food perfectly within its side. But knowing that, this gets the job done. Portions are good. The pink is nice and the top isn’t too “marbled”. I spent probably two hours scouring bento boxes online because I’m indecisive—just buy this one and save yourself some time! Also you’re supporting a CA company!
