  • Huge Value for Cost
This is in a conference room, with bright fluorescent (now LED) lighting. I've tried 5 other projectors that said they would work in high ambient light, but this one actually does. Good color saturation, as well.

  • Th685p vs epson ef mini 12
Both are really good projectors , th685p is better for gaming for the low input lag but If you want more details, I'd go with the epson ef 12 since it's a laser projector and has more details and color accuracy than the th685p and has almost the same brightness since its a laser projector, I use both the akia 125" and 104" and tested both on each screen , and like I've said gaming is better on the benq th685p but if you do only movies epson ef 12 is way better for details. Contrast ratio is better on the ef 12 blacks are better and almost looks like a 4k projector , so if you're confused weither to get this or a laser projector go with the laser projector if you only do movies and go with the th685p if you only do gaming. ... show more

  • Best Projector for the Price
If you’re like me, quality is very important. I game and stream so I wanted something that would be able to keep up. I did a lot of research prior making my final decision. Like most, I thought I’d just go all out and buy that $3,000 Epson projector. Thankfully I took the time to look a little deeper and found this gem. Although it is not fitted with all the bells and whistles (smart tech, extra ports, etc) it has everything you’re looking for in the aesthetics department. Rest assured that this projector will meet and most likely exceed your expectations. ... show more

  • Great Projector
I needed a projector that would work in the gym with some light. The display was still bright and could be displayed on a large wall. I would definitely recommend this product.

  • Good projector
Everything is great! Sound not as loud as I like but is good enough for the normal person.

  • Good image quality in a lit room
Just got this to replace my cheap 720p Vankyo projector. Night and day difference with the old one only being around 250 lumens. The BenQ has an easily seen image even in a well lit room and looks amazing in a darkened room. A few drawbacks are first the lack of horizontal keystone shift, so you need to get it as centered as possible with your screen. A second drawback is when not ceiling mounted it is meant to be placed low, on a table or stand, so the image projects upwards quite a lot. I have a shelf mounted on my wall and even with the rear feet adjusted as high as they would go and using maximum digital shift, the image still wasn't lowered enough to display all the way on the screen. I was able to remedy this by using 3/4" plywood as a shim to get the proper angle I needed. The last possible drawback is the unit puts out a lot of heat so if you are going to be using this in a small room, it might warm the room a little. Overall, I am more than happy with this projector and has most of the features I was looking for, other than horizontal keystone adjustment. Also, the projector came 4-6 days earlier than I was expecting which is always a plus. ... show more

  • Good picture quality with one caveat
I am very happy with the projector. It gives very bright and sharp image, even with dark image it’s still very good. it is also within the budget. However there’s one thing that’s very concerning, when I setup the projector for the first time, I tilt it slightly to adjust the screen position. The projector suddenly shuts off. I switched it on again, the lamp indicator was flashing red. It wouldn’t turn on. Luckily after a few minutes it finally turned on. But I was very concerning why it went in such a state. ... show more
