Love the rotating base, and the magnets are very strong, so the iPads not coming off unless you want it too. The hinges don’t move once in place, which is a positive and a negative. Positive is you know that the viewing angle is not going to change unless you give it some pressure to move it. Negative is that it’s extremely difficult to reposition. The media could not be loaded. Received the Benks Magnetic Foldable Stand for iPad Pro (12.9) today. My first impressions noticed the excellent materials, with nice flexibility and a rotating base. The satisfying ratchet sound when rotating the base 360 degrees is very nice! Most stands don’t offer all the viewing angles and the ability to swivel it away to show the screen to someone else. I will use the stand as a second screen for my work from home setup. (See last photo) Keep in mind there are some angles that the stand will allow but the balance would be off and it will tip over. To be safe choose the desired angle and check for stability. The stand is sturdy and held up to the scientific tap test. For me, there weren’t any worries about the device falling or tipping in regular second screen mode. The stand is pretty sturdy and magnets hold the iPad well. The stand can hold iPad upright as well as at low angle (enabling you to write using pencil). There are two issues (a) when the iPad is mounted certain angle, the hinge starts giving away. There is no way in which the hinge can be tightened to stop this. (b) The magnets are pretty strong in holding iPad, but its a bit difficult to figure out how to orient the iPad when mounting it on stand. There are not guiding points on the magnetic plate to help with this (for example, some stands have a cut out area for camera that can be used for orienting iPad). ... show more

No support offered for this stand; the swivel loosens up with little use and there's no way to tighten it. The company has nothing to offer when this happens. Amendment: I was finally able to get some support for this item. A refund was offered. The swivel issue cannot be tightened so it would seem there may be a design flaw. If your goal is to use this stand primarily because it can swivel (which works fine while it functions properly), you may want to scout around for a design that allows for tightening if/when loosening occurs. ... show more

It's a great support. I have the iPad 12.9 and there's some positions that can't handle the weight and eas not effective for me. I saw a lot of reviews of it on TikTok and they showed the same positions I was trying and could handle it perfectly. If took me too long to realize that their iPads were smaller. It has a really strong magnetic and its rotation is great but can become annoying after a minute of using it. ... show more
