This 'Benevolence LA' Reed Diffuser (in the Malibu Nights) is a very nice diffuser that looks and smells high quality. The Malibu Nights (Champagne and Peony) one that I ordered smells fresh and floral; it's a pleasant scent, and not overpowering. So, for those who are sensitive to smells, I think this one is great because you are able to have a refreshing scent that isn't too strong. 🌸 However, I do think this definitely works better in smaller spaces (bathrooms, hallways, closets, vanity areas, etc). This wouldn't make my whole room smell nice (in my experience); but I put it in my hallway/stairway area, and it provides a refreshing scent every time I pass by. 😌✨️ Additionally, whole appearance of the diffuser and reeds is very high quality; the bottle is glass and very nicely made, and the reeds are strong (and come with many). This looks very pretty wherever you choose to set it, and looks very chic and modern. The bottle can be reused, which is nice. The product came very nicely presented, which makes me feel like this could be a nice item to gift to someone you care about. The price of the diffuser is a little more than I would typically pay on a reed diffuser; however, this one is very nicely made, smells nice, and the bottle is reusable. So, overall, I'm happy with it.💗 I discovered this brand 'Benevolence LA', and saw they have other diffusers and products; this item makes me want to check out other items of theirs. Very nice item, by a nice brand.

I like the aesthetics of this simple and elegant Reed diffuser. The color is neutral and doesn’t look gaudy or cheap. The bottle itself is thick glass so it won’t break easily, and it has a very secure synthetic cork lid, so no spills or leaks. The scent is odd. I love the sound of patchouli and ebony - but that’s not what my nose detects. It’s minty for some reason. I have a bottle of real patchouli essential oil and the diffuser smells nothing like it at all. It’s not a bad scent, but it’s not what I expected at all. I looked at their other scent options and I’m honestly wondering if they sent me the wrong one - they have a scent with eucalyptus in it, and that’s a lot closer to what I smell… It’s very strong, but of course you can adjust it by using less of the reeds depending on the size of the space. I’m not a fan of the strange minty scent, I wish I could smell the patchouli & ebony like I expected to, but it is fresh smelling - perfect for bathrooms. The diffuser works very well so the overall quality is high, just disappointed with the scent not matching the description.

I generally don't buy any type of scented anything as the fragrances always seem to be way overdone and cloying. I liked the description of the Pacific Driftwood and thought I would give it a try. Three days in and we removed most of the sticks, leaving only 2 in the bottle. This was to lessen the strength and 2 sticks gives just enough scent for us. The scent has me really interested. Reminds me of something from long ago but I can't put my finger on it. We really like it, not at all fake smelling or cloying. Actually very refreshing. I do intend to stick with this since it is so unique and calming. Seriously, it does not at all smell cheap and fake like Glade or Febreeze. I would heartily recommend this fragrance. I did read the reviews and am surprised some people don't think it is strong enough. Must just be personal preference. We had to back down to 2 sticks to ease off the strength. I just catch a light whiff every now and then which is perfect for us. I really really like this fragrance!

I was a little hesitant to get something with a scent that I have not smelled first in person. I was right to be hesitant. The scent was very strong and somewhat overwhelming. I gave it a couple of days thinking it may settle down a bit but it only got stronger and my living room was taken over. The scent itself isn't bad, just overpowering. If you do try this, make sure it is in a very large room. The look of the bottle and reeds was very nice... elegant even. If you like things really fragrant, then this may be for you. In my opinion, it needs to be toned down a bit. The smell is a bit masculine. I love Sandalwood and thought I ordered the one with that in the description, but I chose wrong and got a different scent instead. It is pleasant and on the masculine side, but again, just too powerful. I feel it is overpriced for a reed diffuser as well.

It comes with many wooden sticks, where you don’t have to put them all in at once. The bottle itself has a protective cover that ensures it won’t spill either. Looks: 5/5 Stunning. The bottle looks amazing. It fits the vibe of almost every home, and is extremely minimalist and natural. Quality / Durability: 5/5 Great quality bottle. You can feel it. This is a premium product.
