I'm 5'5" and 170LBS and bought the XXL in black. I have a typical "mom bod" so I needed something forgiving in the waist/hip area. I normally wear a L 12/14, but upon reading another review took a chance with the XXL. I'm glad I did! This snow bib fits perfectly over jeans or leggings and was a breeze to slip on. The leg length was a little long and the back of the pant covered the heel of my boots, but this wasn't an issue for getting around though. The top was loose, but the straps easily tighten and stayed in place with zero slipping. I have a long torso so I didn't have to tighten too much. The waistline is very stretchy (in the picture I'm showing the room) and I was able to comfortably play in the snow and go tubing for hours. I wore my jacket over the top, but you could wear one under the bib as well. These kept me bone dry and warm. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ... show more

Bought this for a family ski trip, where temperatures ranged from the low 20s down to the mid-teens, with wind chills sometimes dropping below zero. Since we were mostly beginners, there was a lot of falling into the snow. The bibs held up extremely well and kept us so warm that we were able to remove some underlayers to avoid sweating. I’m 5’5, ~180lbs and more of a boxy body type (smaller chest, narrow hips). I was worried the Large would be too small based on reviews so I ordered L and XL (last pic) in the same length (31” inseam). L fits snuggly around my hips and butt while wearing leggings underneath, but still quite comfortable and I can move easily with the stretchy part at the waist. The top part is pretty roomy on me but I had no issues with straps falling or pants sliding down, so doesn’t seem to be an issue. As you can see, the XL is too big for me and too long despite supposedly being the same length as the L. I haven’t tried them in the snow yet, but just wearing them in my house with some basic leggings I was very warm and cozy. Definitely not high-end or anything but they feel sturdy and like they’ll hold up pretty well. I’ll update if anything changes in normal use, but these seem like decent quality snow pants. This is my second purchase. I want to keep one pair at a different house. I ordered this item previously a few years ago, and was satisfied with the snow bibs, except the material had issues. The material on the first snow bibs was stiff, thin, and very noisy, but they kept me warm. The material used in the new snow bibs has since been upgraded. These fit great. I am 5'4 - 157lbs - 29 1/4 or so inseam - ordered a medium. The fit was perfect. I still had room to put clothing under it. The length was maybe slightly long but by the time I get ski boots on that's not gonna matter. Very happy with our purchase and would buy again.

I don’t go to the snow very often, but I went snowboarding for the first time and these were perfect! They kept me warm and dry the whole day. I spent the first run mainly on my butt on the snow and I was dry! I’ve only worn them 2 times so far but they have held up nicely for me. The adjustable straps are great because I have a longer torso and still had no issue with fit. They also have zipper pockets which was nice because I could put my phone in there without fear of it falling out on the lift or mountain.
