Edit to update: I figured out the issue and it wasn't the cars. We have a husky and the wheels had just accumulated a lot of hair. After taking it apart to remove the hair it works great. So if you have pets that shed, either play with this on a table or make sure to clean up the pet hair before setting up on the ground. We opened this on Christmas day and by the end of the day the cars seemed to lose power. I figured it just ran through batteries quickly so I canged them, but even with fresh batteries, they still weren't as powerful. Now a week later one of the cars won't even run. I've changed the batteries multiple times, but it atill won't run. This track is really cool when it runs but I'm not happy with the longevity of the cars. I think it would also be more cost effective of they were rechargeable instead of battery operated.

My nephew loved it! It was THE gift of the party. His little sister even tried stealing one of the cars from him. No instructions but it's very easy to figure out how to put it together. Cars take 1 AA battery each (not included) and were pretty powerful. Shipping was fast, packaging was good. Would buy again.

This set came today and I had it together within minutes even though there are no instructions. Everything snaps together pretty well -- especially the track. It's bendable, wavy and cool. I only had trouble with securing the track to four slopes. Child cried while we took it all apart and put it together again, but it all worked out with a huge "Yeah, we did it!" at the end. I didn't know the two dinosaur cars would run on their own (each with one AA battery). That really made the set more fun. If you put the ball in front of one of the cars, it pushes it around the track. There are numerous ways you can set the track up. Just use your imagination. After the crying, we will let it stand as it is for now. This toy is a lot of fun.

Our granddaughter is a dinosaur fanatic; she is 4 yrs but can tell you all about different dinosaurs. She also likes hot wheels so when we saw this dinosaur track it was a perfect match for her. She was so excited. She can put the track together by herself. Building the bridges requires parental assistance but that's ok. She loved the idea of making the track as big or small as she wanted, the ability to put the dinosaur cars inside the track so it operates like a tank, and the other little pieces (different dinosaur toys) that she could put around the course. If you have a child that is a dinosaur fanatic, this is the toy for them. The cars don't make any noise so some may consider that a blessing. She would have liked the cars to roar.

I recently purchased the Dinosaur Race Track Toy for my toddler, and overall, it's an okay toy. While it has some drawbacks, there are also a few positive aspects that make it worth considering. One of the main issues I encountered with this toy is the bridge. Despite my attempts to use it, I found it quite challenging to keep the bridge from falling down. The stability of the bridge could be improved, as it tends to collapse easily, which can be frustrating for both children and parents. Additionally, the ramps leading up to the bridge also posed a problem. They wouldn't stay up properly, which further hindered the functionality of the toy. This flaw made it difficult for my toddler to enjoy the full experience of racing the dinosaurs across the track. However, one redeeming quality of this toy is that my toddler still enjoys playing with it even without the bridge. The track itself provides enough entertainment for my little one, and they seem to have a great time racing the dinosaurs along the track. This versatility is a definite plus, as it allows for imaginative play and creativity. In conclusion, the Dinosaur Race Track Toy is an average toy with some notable drawbacks. The instability of the bridge and the ramps not staying up are significant issues that need improvement. However, the fact that my toddler still enjoys playing with the track without the bridge is a positive aspect.
