I think it is a great case. I have not had any problems with the leather wearing down quickly. I do like the feel of the leather on the Slim sleeve better than what is used here, but it certainly looks fine. This wallet also holds business cards as well as everything else that a slim sleeve can so I have been using it more and more. I have had similar wallets that had no magnet and would never lay flat, but with this one, the magnet seems to be strong enough to keep it closed, which also helps prevent things from falling out. Depending on how many cards you have in, it also holds cash well. In the photos I have 4 business cards, 8 bills with my drivers license, insurance card and 3 credit cards. If you put a card or two behind the cash then it still closes just fine as the cash is not pushing back on the leather.

But don’t be fooled—this wallet could probably smuggle the crown jewels past airport security and still have room for your library card. It’s crafted from leather so smooth, I half-expect it to start reciting French poetry. Sliding a card into it feels like buttering silk. The name—Under Cover—isn’t just marketing fluff. It’s a lifestyle. I pulled it out at a café and someone asked if I worked in intelligence. I didn’t say yes… but I didn’t say no either. The power is intoxicating. Every time I use it, I feel like I should be wearing a tux, ordering a martini (shaken, obviously), and whispering a code phrase to a mysterious stranger. Bellroy is a great company that makes all kinds of EDC gear and travel items. I’ve been on the lookout for a nice, slim wallet that can easily fit in my pocket, but can also fit my four cards, maybe some cash when needed, and an extra slot for a temporary hotel room key, parking ticket, or receipts. What attracted me the most to this wallet was actually the magnetic closure. That’s been a wallet trend lately, although this magnet is pretty weak. It’s nice to have, but it definitely won’t stop the wallet from easily coming apart with just a little bit of force. I’m guessing this might be due to NOT wanting to demagnetize any cards potentially. I tested out my four cards, some U.S. bills, and an extra card, and they all fit pretty nicely in the wallet. As with all leather wallets, some stretching will occur if you try to keep stuffing items in here. That will inevitably create bigger pockets, which forces you to constantly carry a specific number of cards since, with less cards, they’ll just slide out too easily. I guess with the flap closure, it’ll prevent that from happening, but even then, I don’t think anyone would want their cards easily moving around the wallet. Why I ultimately returned this wallet was due to the big curvature of the spine. This bigger curve is to accommodate more cards and cash to have more of a nice U shape rather than a V shape from overstuffing the wallet. For me, though, even though this wallet is considered slim, that curved spine made me feel the wallet when placed in my pants pocket, and it’s definitely visible. While there’s nothing wrong with the functionality of this wallet, I just did not like how big this middle section is, but that’s just personal preference rather than an actual hindrance.

Tried the small metal wallets with cash straps and did not like them. You have to double fold your cash for it to fit properly. This wallet holds all my cards including my Tile tracker card. There is a divider on one side where you can fold bills over once and store them and wallet folds properly in half because they made it wide enough. I used another wallet from Belroy and liked it just as much. This wallet is small and looks great. Excellent quality. I would recommend.
