ASSEMBLY IS TIME CONSUMING and there are a lot of parts. I'm really happy with the quality of this island and feel like I got a great deal. If assembled properly (and without making mistakes) I bet this is just as good as a much more expensive island from Bed Bath and Beyond or other home goods retailer. ***HOWEVER, I am a very mechanically inclined person and the assembly took me about 2 and a half hours. Pay very close attention to the instructions, specifically the orientation of all the components when installing them. Aside from the top counter piece, the slats are made from brittle MDF, which is unforgiving. Meaning if you install something incorrect and have to remove the screws and reinstall it, you will likely strip any threads created by the self tapping hardware. The screws, cam nuts and other hardware pieces are very soft metal and poor quality. Use hand tools only for assembly, unless you have the hands of a neurosurgeon, you will strip everything. I wouldn't even use an electric screwdriver, much less a drill. I ended up using a JIS #2 screwdriver instead of a Phillips because none of my Phillips drivers fit the heads of the screws. There is extra hardware so if you ruin a few, don't worry too much. I did have to do a bit of "custom fabrication" when installing one of the door stops because I put it in backwards and there was no way it would install a 2nd time without destroying it. ... show more

This was the perfect size kitchen cart for my tiny kitchen. The instructions were fairly easy to assemble and it was fairly easy to reverse them to disassemble the cart once we realized one piece had been installed backwards. I do agree with other reviewers that the drawers are tiny - no where as deep as the cart is. It is probably half as much usable size as I expected. So, my cooking utensils have to go in across the width rather than the depth of the drawer. The one design flaw is the doors are slightly of kilter. The only way I can close one is by closing both at the same time so they can press against one another and "fit." ... show more

I really like how much room is in the cabinets, I put one large instant pot on one side and one small instant pot on the other side. I am also able to stock some groceries on the shelves. The drawers are deep and large enough for a loaf of bread or silverware/plastic ware. It was easy to assemble, I took my time working on a little at a time and finished in 3 days. The back of the cabinet and the bottom of the drawers are a thin plywood but sturdy. The only tool I used was a Phillips screwdriver. It has rollers which makes it easy to move for cleaning or serving. I love it and it looks good in the kitchen. ... show more

We needed extra storage space in our townhome kitchen. Cabinet space is good for most of my small appliances and recipe books. I used the counter space and drawers to create a coffee bar. It took my husband about 90 min to put together with no issues. The cabinet wood finish is a beautiful glossy white. The countertop is probably the best glossy engineered wood I've seen. Cleans in a jiffy with a damp cloth. Having wheels and handles has enabled me to easily clean my floors and reconfigure the space as needed. I gave it a 4 for sturdiness because it does make some creaking noises when you start to move it, so I'd recommend to remove countertop items before doing so, and moving it gently. ... show more

This was a pretty easy piece to put together. But it is sort of flimsy. I guess it’s what you pay for the drawers a very light weight and not as large and deep as I had expected we couldn’t fit everything that was in our old one into this so now we have to spread around our utensils and table cloths to be placed in other furniture like a China cabinet ... show more
