My husband and I are not little people. That being said, I wanted something sturdy enough for both of us to sit together on our patio together in the evenings. The Belleze 50" Garden Bench fit our needs perfectly because it is very sturdy and comfortable with both of us (380 lbs) sitting on it. The leg length from the back of the knees to the seat is perfect for my 5'6" frame, and it is a good height so that I don't feel like I'm sitting on children's furniture. The bench was easy to assemble, and came with its own tools. We did use a small pair of our own pliers to assist with the construction because the little wrench that came with the bench was tedious to use. Together, we had the bench assembled in 5 minutes. Please check out the 4 photos attached to this review. The bench sitting on our deck is over 3 years old and still looks brand new. It was purchased from Plow and Hearth in July 2018 for $99.95. The other 3 pictures are of an OUTDOOR(?) bench we purchased in July 2021 for $109.99 on Amazon.com but through a third party seller that identifies itself as "OneBigOutlet". This second bench began flaking paint and rusting out in March-April of this year but I didn't complain about it to OneBigOutlet until about a week ago (the first week in October, 2021). That was my bad because when I spoke on the phone to Jim from OneBigOutlet, he informed me that the bench came with just a one year warranty and that it had expired. Therefore, he said, OneBigOutlet had no responsibility to help me in any way. So then I called Amazon.com customer support and asked if they could help me. They offered only to contact the seller and make OneBigOutlet respond to me by e-mail. I have now received that e-mail and here is what it says: Hello Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately you are currently out of warranty I can not further assist you in any parts replacement or refund. Best Regards, Shaylyn H Onebigoutlet Customer Service Team MY THOUGHT ON THE ONEBIGOUTLET RESPONSE: Not only am I out of warranty, but I'm also out of luck. We bought this bench to keep at the end of the driveway when waiting for our kids to get on/off the bus. It looks nice, is comfortable and seems sturdy. Unfortunately after just a few weeks we're already seeing it start to rust. Very disappointing. My wife is already worrying about sitting on this as the rust will likely continue to get worse and possibly stain her clothes. We saw many good reviews helping us make this purchase, but I'm guessing those are mostly from the first day or two of assembly. These pictures are after just 3 weeks of being outside. ... show more

LOVE this bench. Comfortable, beautiful, sturdy, and easy to assemble if you READ and FOLLOW the direction. Leave everything loosely fastened to make sure every bolt hole lines up and then tighten. The color is bronze/black and scrollwork is lovely. I came back to order 2 more but now I have to wait till they are back in stock, so YES I would buy again. The bench comfortably seats two adults and bears weight to 500 lbs. Great decision to get this NO REGRETS! ... show more

    • USE CLEAR COAT SPRAY

Just received the bench. Two sides, the back and six or so slats. Easy to assemble, no missing parts. My bronze finish was clearly just the black bench with some copper looking paint brushed on, but it's fine. Before first use, I sprayed the entire thing, top to bottom and all sides, with two medium coats of Rust-Oleum Clear coat. I'll add a third light coat tomorrow before it goes outside. This is CRITICAL as the bench is thinly painted metal. If you do not paint it with clear, it's almost guaranteed to rust early. Spend the $5 and get your clear coat applied ASAP. ... show more

Purchased as a gift for my sister, who lives where there are 4 seasons. I had read reviews that this item rusts easily so I sent along clear rustolium so she could help protect the bench from premature rust. My sister loves the bench, said it is very sturdy and was easy to assemble.

Simple to assemble, an allen key bit on my drill made for a quick assembly. Actually had my wife do a hands on assembly. Bench is study, lightweight and nicely finished. The bench 'planks' are capped and the caps are not prefect hopefully they don't cause issues. You can't really tell unless you look close but it's a little disappointing that they are not just welded shut or use something more coherent and reliable than a loosely pushed on decorative cap. I read other reviews saying it rusted, but I have not seen any issues yet, or cause for concern. The back and arms seem most likley but they appear to be well coated on my bench.
