I would have given a 5 star rating, but there was no indication as to the size of the shorts on the product. Fortunately, it was the right size and they fit perfectly and so comfortably. Additionally, the zipper is metal (yay)! I did not like that there were symbols instead of verbiage for the washing instructions. I prefer words as opposed to symbols. I bought this and tried it on immediately. I LOVED it. The shorts are long enough that you don't need to worry about your parts hanging out, but it's chic enough to not worry about style. There are pockets (which are a HUGE plus for me) and the belt is a nice style addition, although not really needed for function. I will be wearing the coffee colored shorts with an oversized white cotton button up and a wide brimmed hat for a party I'm attending this weekend, which will be outdoors with NO SHADE. I'm sure to stay cool in the cotton and I'll be able to move freely with these comfy shorts! I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs. The medium fit me perfectly. These are cute but I should have ordered the XL since I have an hour glass shape. They were too snug in my waist and I have a relatively flat stomach. If you have a thick mid section, size up. Y’all this shorts are cute!!!! I ordered the recommended size and they fit perfect. The material is a linen type material and is definitely cool enough for summer wear. I love the color. The shorts have an elastic band in the back so if you have a little stomach like me it will stretch. The belt is made with nice material, but is extra long. These shorts can be dressed up or down.
