Bell has always fit me well, so going back to Bell after trying others was a safe bet. This is the new Spherical + MIPS protection since wanting to ensure that the head is still functional after a crash. Not all Mfr. fit all head shapes and sizes. Bell has fit me well for over 20 years. The ventilation is good and find the sweat channels work well and do the best it can to keep sweat from rolling down my face on hot days. Love the new GoPro mount on the top. Super easy to use. The Float fit system is all I have to argue with putting the helmet on at first, then it's all good afterwards. This is the reason for the 4 stars vs 5. I always tell people MTB is a contact sport, you will contact something at some point while riding. It will happen, so be protected. ... show more

I haven't made it through a socal summer with this helmet yet, but so far I am very pleased with the comfort and light weight. The adjustability and padding is just right for me. Solid feed but no pressure points, and easy to put on/take off.

Overpriced probably Like most high priced helmets. MIPS is probably over rated and more of a sales tactic. Some cheap design elements but fits well and will serve its purpose.
