This is a great helmet for the cost. It's ECE rated, which actually means something compared to DOT ratings. I've been riding it in 90+ degree temps, and it's fine. Plenty of airflow. It's comfortable for long rides. Probably my only complaint would be that it's not the quietest helmet, so if you want to do intercom you might be disappointed, but I don't do that, so it's not a problem. I've owned this helmet for about a year. I had an accident today while wearing it and it performed as expected. I would definitely but it again. I hit me head pretty hard as you can see in the pictures. I went to the ER and had a CT scan all test came back normal. If you are on a budget as was I, it is definitely worth the cost. Very nice I ordered a large it's a tight squeeze and hurts my ears but that's just the part that sits around your neck the further in is more space looks. Great no damages easy to lift visor basically as described this will definitely lower the amount of stuff I wrap around my head like I been using a sleeping face mask to hold 2 socks over my ears to keep them worm and 2 face masks to keep my nose worm does not work well the helmet has rubber seals around the visor so water can't get in but I'll know for sure when it rains next as I half to ride an electric bike to work it takes me 40min at a speed of 20mph idk how far . I was wary about trying out an unrated new helmet, but I've been very pleased with this so far. Lots of motorcycle sites have reviewed the helmet and had positive things to say, so I went for it. I thought sizing was pretty accurate, but it may run a little tight. I was at the lower end of the Large Helmet size range. I haven't worn the qualifier long enough to have it really be broken in to my head. Helmet is light, fits well, very little or no buffeting at high speed (75+) so the aerodynamics seem to be dialed in well. I can't tell if there is wind noise because my bike has straight pipes and is very loud by itself. There is a lot of space around the ears inside the helmet to allow for speakers, so I don't feel that there is much sound deadening. This could be positive or negative depending on your perspective, for a guy with a loud bike like mine, I wish it was a bit quieter in there. If I had to complain, the shell seems to be a bit on the large side, thought not comically large. There is also a significant gap between my chin, and the helmet chin, meaning that there is a lot of airflow over my face, even with the vents closed. This is probably going to be great in the hotter months, but this early in spring, it felt a bit cool. I hope Bell releases some sort of clip on chin piece/breath box for the qualifier to reduce this, otherwise you'll want a balaclava or other wind protection on cool days. As for the person who complained about the lack of tinted shield, they said themselves that all other helmets show tinted, but come with clear. I'm unsure why they assumed this helmet would be different. I bought the dark smoke visor separately and it looks great with the matte black. For the price, I think this is a great helmet. The looks, especially with the *optional* dark smoke shield, are great, and the build quality and materials seem to be fantastic for an entry level helmet. ... show more

The product quality is quite good. Fit and finish are above par for this price range. Unfortunately, it's a bit noisy inside at any moderate speed. There are whistling noises which are impossible to avoid no matter how I adjust the vents. Additionally, there is another, louder whistle noise every time I turn my head. I'm going to try plugging the vent openings on the inside, but this is not an optimal solution. I regret buying this, but not badly enough to throw it away. ... show more
