I had received this helmet for my spouse 5 days ago and was waiting to write a review once he’d ridden a bit for the best review. Well last night a truck pulled in front of him and he went down. Road rash everywhere but guess what, do head injury whatsoever. In a crash the visor flips off so it doesn’t splinter in your eyes too. He rolled down the asphalt enough that the color of his blue jeans was on the road. When I saw the helmet I was shocked. There was tiny scratches on the back of it only and the rest was fully intact. The visor itself wasn’t even scratched. The inside is very nice and padded and he said that it was very comfortable as he was tucking and rolling so to speak. I will never buy another brand after seeing how this held up and what it did for him. I’m so grateful that this came in just in time to save him. Had he hit the same way without this helmet the doctors and nurses said it would have been fatal. They were all so impressed by it. Thank you Bell for making this! Saved his life for sure! Photos are after the crash in the hospital to show what little damage it suspmtained. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very nice helmet overall, I love it ! I bought this helmet because I like how it looks and specially that black matte color , Two visors that came with it ( clear and smoked) included in $150 price of the helmet , I like quick release for visors because I change my visors for day and night riding and I like that It has built in port for Sena SMH10 . I love this helmet for all that ! It’s very nice helmet for the money for sure . I am glad I didn’t pay over $300 for Arai and Shoei which were not even perfect for that price . Helmet looks really nice , I got a compliments from friends and family . It’s comfortable and feels nice inside. It doesn’t feel cheap like other helmets for under $200 . Note that If you want to install Sena SMH10 like I did , you would need to buy special Bell Sena mount for that helmet that cost $40 . I can’t say if this helmet is loud or not because I wear earplugs and don’t worry about that . With earplugs it’s good for sure . I am riding cruiser bike , not a sport bike and I don’t go very fast so for my speeds Aerodynamicists feel good , I can freely move my head from side to side to check blinds spots and I like it because with previous Bilt helmet i could feel more air pushing my head when checking blind spots . I love this helmet and I think it’s the best helmet for its price. ... show more

Love it I researched a lot prior to buying and it was noted on a few YouTube reviews that you will get a lot of wind noise. The wind noise isn't any different than any other helmet I've owned. I love it it came with clear and tinted visor. The matte black finish is awesome!!! I have a weird shaped head I guess and helmets never seem to fit correctly but I love the fit on this one hands down. ... show more

In the description it articulates very clearly that a transition Shield is included The DLX qualifier comes with a transition Shield and has an forehead vent which differentiates it from the qualifier Further down it states that only one clear Shield is included ... but as stated in the earlier description an extra one was included however it was smoke and not transition as promised What makes a qualifier DLX a qualifier DLX is the transition Shield which was not sent with this helmet ... show more

Lightweight, good looking and well ventilated. I crashed at freeway speed and was thrown from my motorcycle. I slammed my head on the ground at high speed. I lived. Solid helmet saved me. I recommend this because it kept me alive and functional, and my kid still has her mom. Broken limbs can heal, but the head… it needs this level of protection. ... show more

    • Great fit, great looks, great visibility
Looks good, well fitting, feels light and doesn't catch too much wind while highway cruising at 150mph+. I've taken it to a little over 170mph on my CBRXX (carby) and it still felt nice and stable. The Bluetooth headset opening, even while not being used and closed off, is as most say pretty loud at decent speed...I think this coming season I'll try to put something in there to reduce the wind that enters to keep the noise out, but don't let it dissuade you from buying, you get a lot of helmet for the cash here. Screen is quick and easy to swap out, but I do wish I would've known it didn't come with the Transitions shield as being labeled as a DLX Qualifier ... didn't realize that the full matte black one just comes with a clear and a dark smoke, so this is your warning that it doesn't. ... show more

This is a perfect helmet without breaking the bank. The fitment is VERY snug, so maybe order a size up from your normal. I normally order Large in helmets, but this one was is definitely much tighter around my face which comes from the added padding and hydro wicking material. The swede around the neck and chin along strap along with it being lightweight makes it extremely comfortable for longer rides. ... show more

Long overdue replacement for my last helmet. This thing is way more comfortable. I have a large and long oval head, and this thing fits perfect. Great field of vision. Chin skirt prevents bees inside the helmet while riding. The venting is nice, far superior to my last helmet. Only real down side is its a little noisy. Not a huge deal since I wear ear plugs, but it's worth one star off. ... show more
