finally got around to setting it up on july 4th for my dog. the directions suck. the frame seems to be pretty sturdy. had some issues with some of the bars not wanting to connect good enough but i managed to finally getting them to go together. once i finally got to the canopy part i learned it doesnt fit. whoever made it, made it, cut the fabric for the velcro part too short and sewed the velrco in the wrong place. so its not going to work properly. i'm going to have to tarp it to make sure it shelters/shades my dog properly instead. dissatisfied to say the least. they should probably pay attention to these details before they send them out. ... show more

My lab is 100+ plus pounds. This shade tent still had plenty of room for her to move around. The structure itself is made out of a sturdy metal piping with a smooth finish. The shade portion is also extremely durable. The instructions were clear and the tent was quickly and easily put together. The build only required one small tool, which the seller provided along with a set of knit work gloves.
