  • Great synth bass, great price
Thanks to its very cheddar yellow look, I've come to affectionately call the TD-3 my funky box of mac and cheese. Provides pretty flexible bass options for a solid price (paid $130usd). Has been great for someone like me who's new to the world of synths and didn't want to break the bank adding some fun new sounds. ... show more

  • Amazing TB303 emulator but the knobs are very tight
The sound is perfect, and true to the classic. The downside is that it has very tight knobs and is limited in its range of octaves. Worth the price? 100%! Could be better? Yes, all too easily. Extended range, smoother knobs, and the full devil fish mod would be ideal. But for the price, I would buy it again, no questions asked. ... show more

  • Analog 303 with midi!!!!
Acid forever!!! A clone of a classic for the price of a toy. Buy two or three. Great fun. Great sequencer. Fat analog acid baselines. Midi makes it sync well with friends. Can't recommend a better instrument for the price

  • Fat bass for only 150 dollars. Wow.
This lives up to the hype. The oscillators sound great. It’s foolproof setup for fat bass sounds. I never owned a real 303 but I used to play Rebirth 338 a lot and they nail the sound down so well that I want to grab an external keyboard to play basslines into my DAW. I think when the MO gets released I will also get one of those too. ... show more

  • Exact TB303 clone including the horrendous 1980's sequencer
Sounds good, the overdrive on this sounded worse than on a green model a friend had which was unexpected! The sequencer is exactly like the original TB303 so is a horrific pain to program! The x0Xb0X and the Donner B1 both have hugely improved sequencers that are much more fun to use. If you want the 303 sound, this has it. But it also has the arcane 1980s sequencer in all its user unfriendly glory. ... show more

  • Fun acid box
This thing is GREAT. I have played it to the point of exhaustion a couple times because it's just that fun. I don't have a 303 (or 3000 dollars to get one), but this is very much a worthy substitute. I also like that you can program in patterns using a computer or use an external sequencer or controller over MIDI. The distortion is a nice addition, but even better is the ability to use TD-3's filter with an outside audio source, but the unit will need to be running either with midi or the internal sequencer or you won't get sound out. The unit feels plastic-y but it was cheap and has a smiley face so I don't care. If you want to have fun making squeaky rubbery noises all night than I recommend the TD-3 (in yellow of course) ... show more
