Okay so this is probably some of the best gel polish I’ve used , and for a great price ! Lasted me 2 weeks before I had to redo. The UV Light is amazing and overall the kit comes with a lot for the price. My only complaint would be that the colors aren’t exactly as pictured. Not sure where the red came from but it’s a pretty red ! A lot of reviews say “bad polish” “doesn’t apply evenly” “chips easily” but I would personally say that’s user error because I’ve had no problems. Didn’t chip once in the two weeks I had it on.

The media could not be loaded. I had been looking for a comprehensive review of this product and luckily found one on you tube that helped in my decision to purchase this product. I will say that the lamp alone is worth the price of this kit, so if you are looking for a good place to start, it wasn't too upgrade from a uv lamp to led, this is an affordable option. I bought this kit to do press ons for my daughter's, and as a licensed, non-practicing nail tech, I'm conscious of the amount of money that I'm spending on product. Whole my use may be different from yours, this is a great an affordable alternative to name brand products. Plus you can't beat everything you get in this kit for the price. Now as far as the polishes go, the thickness was inconsistent from color to color. That just meant that some of the colors required multiple coats while others did not. Also because this is gel and it doesn't "harden" until you cure it, you have more time to work with it than normal polish, and you can fix stuff just as long as you haven't cured it yet. Also, something else to consider is that you don't have to use their colors with their base and top coats. This allows you a wide variety of color choices. The base and top coats are really nice. The matte is thicker than the regular to coat,. So this is just something to be aware of. As you can see in the video, the matte is a true matte. There is no sheen visible, which is really nice, and this is exactly what you should get from a matte polish. Overall this is a great product for the price and I'm super happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.

As a stay at home mom I am so glad I discovered this! I stopped painting my nails because with all the bathing, dishes, and cleaning my nails are chipped the same day I paint them. I am on day 3 of having my nails gel painted with this kit and they have peeled a tiny bit but only because I didn't paint the tips horizontally like it suggests. And I only put on one coat. The whole application (filing, buffing, painting, curing, etc) took 20 minutes. Only downside is the colours are lighter than pictured. Edit to come back and say that after 2 months I still love this kit! The longest I've gone is 1.5 weeks (because my nails started growing out and I wanted a different colour) with the gel polish only peeling a tiny bit.

I'm a total newbie to gel polish so I have nothing to compare this to. (I've never even been to a salon!) I love the look of gel and had Christmas gift cards so I got this set. I watched YouTube videos and read reviews for tips and tricks. I have deep nail beds so pooling is always a problem for me with regular nail polish. I was extra careful with this one to avoid that but still managed to get a tiny bit around a few nails. Not bad for my first try though! I did get an additional set of nail dehydrator and primer to help it last. I'm only on day two of my manicure but so far there is no peeling, cracking, chipping, etc. The colors are definitely off from what is shown, but they're still very pretty. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to get more color sets!

I tried this product because I wanted salon quality nails at home. I hate how quickly regular polish chips & getting a nail appointment can be a hassle. This works as described & is super easy to use. I generally get one week to a week & a half of wear on my fingernails as I am often cooking & doing dishes etc. Whenever I polish my toes, the colour lasts forever (over a month). However, the nail prep goes a long way in helping the gel polish to adhere longer, so follow the instructions carefully. Over some months , Ive recognized that the nail prep (which includes filing the top of the nails) in combination with the acetone use to remove the gel polish have contributed to brittle, softer fingernails. Therefore, I would recommend using the system for special occasions, vacations etc so that you can give your nails some time in between to recuperate.

Great kit for my first time doing my own gel manicure. Everything worked great. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The polish and top coat cure fast and no smudges. My hands aren’t as precise as a professional nail tech, but I’m confident I’ll get better over time. I’m thrilled at the fact this dries so fast with the uv light. I just don’t have time to sit with wet nails, nor do I have $100 a month to continue getting them done at a salon, so this kit is a true life saver! The UV light had a little scratch upon arrival, but it still worked and that’s all I care about. Very happy with this purchase.

This was my first gel attempt, AND first time painting my fingernails in ages!! I followed the easy instructions and was sure to paint every layer thinly. I only did one coat of color—we’ll see how it holds up and if two color coats will be better next time? Like other reviews I had read, curing the matte coat gets HOT fast! I did realize however, that it felt less intense when I selected the lowest (30s) cure time rather than the 69s. Odd that the lower time would feel less intense. If this happens to you when curing the matte top coat, use the shortest setting (30s) twice. It also helps if you lightly blow on your hand while it’s curing. I read that matte coats cure way faster, so that might contribute to it getting hot.
