This is the perfect starter kit for beginners. I purchased because I was tired of paying for manicures all the time. The polish included is great and lasts a week or two. I typically only need 2 color coats + base and top coat. The lamp included is great for compact travel and on the go. I would definitely invest in other nail tools like cuticle oil, nail dehydrator and proper shaping tools to further extend the life of your manicure. Overall, great purchase!

This is an amazing product!! I mainly wanted the LED light but I did just a clear coat on my nails to strengthen my natural nails and this is a life saver!! It takes no time at all and I just made sure to do two coats of polish with double dry time to be sure. Once I was done I used some alcohol to get the tacky substance off of the nail and they look great. Did exactly what I needed it to do and saved me some time and money!!

Initially my nails were peeling off in 1 piece after 1-3days when i followed the instructions. I tried to do research on how to make it stay longer and it worked for about at least a week. Not bad for its price. #1 make sure your nails are dry (not wet for at least an hour) and buff your nails to make sure the base coat sticks to your nails. #2 apply super thin coat of base, gel polish and top coat. I applied at least 2-3 coats of gel polish and 1 coat each for base and top coat #3 make sure not to fully coat your whole nails. Leave a small space on side edges of your nails and on top/ near your cuticle. And make sure to seal the top coat even at the bottom edge of your nails. So it seals properly and water cannot go inside your polish (that’s how it stays longer on your nails) #4 cure every coating twice. two 90 seconds per coating. Hope this helps!

I am not a regular gel user. I have thin nails, that break easily and was looking for something to give them some strength.. A friend suggested getting a Gel manicure. However, at the high price point, I decided to give this kit a try. I don't use the color that came with the set. I only use the base and top coat for clear coverage. The light is small and must to the thumb alone. The light has a built in timer of about 90 seconds. It does get hot, when used several times continuously and worried it could overheat and burn out, so I allow time for it to cool before doing both hands. It is also, not very sturdy, so I am careful to fold the legs after use. Overall, doing what I needed, giving some support to my nails.

This kit is awful. It smells worse than anything I’ve ever smelled in any nail salon. There is no way to put a thin layer of the base, color or top coats. It stays tacky for hours. I washed my hands about 4 hours after and it literally washed some off my nail, not my skin, my actual nail. It does not harden. And the light is so cheap you can smell the plastic burning because it gets so hot, even the power cable that came with it was so hot.

I cannot believe how cheap this kit is! I was skeptical when I first saw it as the UV light is a lot smaller than I expected, but it is perfect! I can fit all four of my fingers at once with room to wiggle and do my thumb separately. The polish turned out beautiful and only took two thin coats of color (very light pink). I was really expecting this to not be the best in quality because of how cheaply priced it is, but it has exceeded ALL expectations. Also, this would make a very cute gift for anyone interested. Even small enough to be a stocking stuffers ;)
