The magnetic effect is nice, but it barely shows that it has two colors. The purple is subtle, it almost looks like just a green shine. I used it on a black base, hoping both colors would emerge more, but it's still more green and a very faint purple. Other than that, it's nice polish. Medium thick consistency, which is how I like a magnetic polish to be. If it's too thin the magnetic shards (or whatever they're called) can settle back into the background before you have a chance to cure them, if it's too thick it can be gunky and not level out very well. This is a nice consistency, although I still recommend that you spot cure for 10 seconds once you get each nail the way you want.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE ONE STARS ARE TALKING ABOUT. Obviously they are not reading the instructions correctly. One lady said after waiting a minimum of four days, the nails still were not dried. She must have not read the instructions, because you need an LED or UV light to cure. This specific color is best used on a black base or a dark purple base. I mean, look at these nails that I did for the very first time, and each of them came out exactly as I wanted. I will tell you that if you wanted a lighter cat eye nail, then buy a lighter color. This simply does not work on a white nail per se. Absolutely love this color. The shine and durability is of perfection with the Beetles brand. By all means, DO BUY!!!

I rarely leave reviews, but after seeing the current ones I felt the need to... I almost didn't purchase this one, because when I filtered to reviews for ONLY this product, they were almost all one star. Claims that the product didn't work, that it was just an ugly silver, etc. However, Beetles has yet to do me wrong so I figured I'd give it a try. They either VERY recently changed their formula, or these people just do not know how to properly use magnetic polish. This stuff is stunning and I had no issues with it, I was going to upload multiple videos but it will only let me do one. I tried just one coat of the holographic and it was very visible and colorful with only one coat. It does appear as kind of a fine silver metallic in low light, but like... thats how holographic works, so duh. The video is one coat of their, c439 pink and one coat of this rainbow holographic. I WILL say that I can see where people are saying it slightly discolors the base coat, but... again putting metallic grey over a color is going to make it appear a slightly different color. The pink still comes through fine and is gorgeous, I would just say you may have trouble putting this on top of a stark white 🤷🏼♀️.

I normally love Beetles products and have purchased many over the years but this one I am not a fan of. I use Cat Eye Gel Nail Polish almost exclusively now and have purchased numerous bottles of different brands and different colors. This is the first cat eye gel I bought from the Beetles brand. Issues: 1) This gel goes on very unevenly, the first coat would show light and darker sections on each nail no matter how I tried to even it up. 2) The glitter effect was practically zero. I did my normal first coat, holding my finger at an angle on top of a flat magnet I've always used and unlike all the other glitter gels, this one just didn't appear to have much if any glitter in it. 3) I kept getting small hair-like strings in the polish that would transfer to my nails and I would have to try to pick it off. They are longer than the brush hairs so not sure what that is all about. I used this polish for two manicures in succession just to give it a chance in case my nails had some oil on them the first time but got the same results both times. Yesterday was my 2nd back to back manicures with this product, so after the first coat was dried by UV, for the second coat I changed to an older glitter polish I have and it was so much better! It went on smoothly and evenly and using the same method with the magnet, the result was a distinct line of glitter like I expected to get with the Beetles gel. Very disappointed in this product.
