i'm a beginner at diy extensions and have tried a few different gels and have struggled with every single one of them to do proper 3d lines. the consistency of this gel is absolutely perfect! it sticks to the brush like honey. it still definitely takes practice and i have go in with multiple layers (curing in-between each layer) but i am able to achieve the cleanest, thickest and juiciest 3d lines i ever have. 😮💨🤌🏻 i only wish it was a no wipe! leaves a very sticky layer after curing that needs to be wiped clean with alcohol before top coating. while i don't plan to use it as a builder on top of my natural nails, i can definitely feel the durability. it cures completely clear and rock solid. LOVE!

I didn’t follow directions I opened it before reading the instructions. On the instructions it say to make a small hole so it won’t get messy. It is so sticky! then I spilled half of it on my couch! other than that lol the gel builder works well. I brought the nail gel builder and nail mold just to see which one I like better and I like the mold better. So I probably won’t be buying this gain.

Not a horrible hard gel, but every once and awhile it doesn't cure right and peels off. Packaging also leaks really badly even when it's tightly closed and sitting upright and not being moved around. The hard gel gets all over everything and makes everything sticky as well

I bought this as a gel nail newbie because it came with brush cleaner and the little glass. I actually thought this was going to be the thicker kind thats good for sculpting 3D designs because it says sculpted gel on the pot (its not!) but I digress. I’ve not had any other builder gels so quite honestly I can’t compare it to any others but after several months of usage, I can say this product kind of sucks. First of all, the product does not cure completely, which other reviews have said. You have to wipe off a layer of gel after curing it, and it feels like a significant amount is being wiped off so about half of it is wasted. I’ve used it to encapsulate glitter and such successfully, to some extent. It’s just unfortunate that so much of it doesn’t cure. It also feels like the quality varies each time I use it. I will say that I have a bad scratch carved into my natural nail, and I used this to fill it in. It lasts about two weeks with prep and top coat, and then started chipping/peeling off. I had to do this several times because I wore pressons with glue for some events, and the glue WILL peel the builder gel off your natural nail if the nail pops off. Lastly, the brush cleaner/conditioner is disgusting— it’s this weird thick substance that doesn’t actually come off and just stays on the brush! I tried to wash it off, and it made the little glass cup and all my brushes AND my hands SUPER sticky and gross. I had to get it off everything using acetone and alcohol, which is insane. Please do yourself a favor and purchase a quality brand builder gel and real brush conditioner even if you are a beginner.

I bought this to thicken my nails and help protect them. It took 16 times under the uv light to dry almost completely. Thought maybe my lamp sucked and needed a stronger one. Sadly, it wasn’t the case. It just doesn’t cure. When I got one to cure, it peeled after two days. With gel nail done on top of it. Would return but I already used it. Really wanted to like this. But wouldn’t buy again.
