i had been wanting to try out the tortoise shell nail trend for so long and this did NOT disappoint. i loved that it came with all the necessary things like the jelly brownish orange color and the blooming gel, so i didn’t have to buy them all separately. the formula was great, not too thick or thin and they cured without issue. i got so many compliments on these nails and they were so quick and easy!! highly recommend this set.

This set is perfect to take your nails to the next level while still displaying creativity. My job doesn’t allow us to have bright/artsy nails but this set is neutral enough that no one would notice. Also I love the fact that no one nail is similar to the other. It’s fool proof replicating the tortoise shell print as you see my glasses are also the print. This set is also a great value because you can do ample styles with this color scheme provided. The product formula is rich & bold giving it a beautiful ease of application, two coats tops. I’ve worn this polish going on almost 3 weeks with no chips or peeling. I’d absolutely recommend!

Color: 0-15ML*6-Jelly 6 Color Gel
The polish is super pretty. The color goes in a little more sheer than I like, but with a couple coats you can get your desired color. The bottles are twice the size of the average beetles polish and I haven’t had a chip yet in over a week, I’m sure they’d last another week if needed. Maybe more! It dries down pretty quick, but it can be a little runny and thin, especially the pinks, it would be nice if the formula were thicker. Overall the polish will last a long time and I love the colors!

Color: 0-0-1 Colors Mauve
This review is for the '6 Colors Skin Tones Collection Nude Brown' set, purchased in January 2025. Look at the product photos, and then look at my swatches. The colors are not the same. The 2nd to darkest shade is actually a deep mauve IRL (it's actually a really pretty color), and the 3rd color in my swatches is definitely a pink. I'm not even sure what color that's supposed to be in their product photo. The cream is a darker/muddier color IRL, and the 2nd to lightest color is more peach than the product photo shows. I've purchased many Beetles gel nail color packs now, and I've learned the hard way that the colors are rarely as pictured in the product photos. (Tip: the main nail swatch photos on white are usually very off, but the 'lifestyle' product photos that show the bottles and/or hands are usually more accurate in terms of color.) Either their main product photographer doesn't know how to color-match, or their quality control is so poor they can't maintain consistent color on the products they ship out. (I'm a commercial photographer and I know color. Many other brands on Amazon get this right- this company doesn't.) As a product, Beetles gel polishes are great. But trying to get colors you really like is an exercise in futility and ends up wasting a lot of time trying to look through review photos for swatches that show what the colors *actually* look like. I have spent *so much time* trying to figure out what Beetles colors actually look like once I receive them. I'm docking two stars due to this hassle. I've learned the hard way that if you want to buy Beetles polishes, you just need to find colors you *think* you might like based on the product photos, and then plan to return them if you don't like the *actual* colors you receive. Buy four or five sets of colors, and plan to keep one or two. It's unfortunate, but I see no way around this.
