However, it's important to note that this review specifically refers to a different color and not the Cecilia Sage Green shade that I tried. The Electric Punk Bright Blue is pretty much exactly how it appears in the photo. It's bright, almost like a neon blue. I ended up not liking this color on my hands, but that is the only thing I don't like about it and that's totally on me. I have 2 Beetles polishes, the electric blue and the "grayish purple" color. I took photos in the sun so you can see the true colors. Beetles gel polish is clearly high-quality. Saturated color with smooth application - not lumpy or sticky - makes it a great choice for gel polish. Cures great and lasts 2+ weeks on my soft gel tips.

Product was thicker than I like with a UV gel polish so it took some hang time for the brush strokes to level out before curing, color was good. Did have an issue with one nail not curing all the way and later peeling and being wet underneath, but again, the polish is thick. Redid that nail with much thinner coat and had no issue after that

After years of spending $130+ every 3 weeks at the nail salon for a gel pedi and dip mani, which I loathe having to go do…I finally decided to order all my own stuff and do my own nails! I ordered the acetone remover, dehydrator, primer, gel polish, base/top coat, LED light, all the tools for mani/pedi, even a drill. Spent around $80 for everything…all on Amazon! I’m on day 11 of my gel mani/pedi and my nails and toes look better and are holding up better than they ever did at the salon (zero lifting, chipping, and they are still super shiny! - my nails used to get dull after a few days from having them done at the salon)! I am so sad I wasted all that money for so long when I could do my own nails. And it only took 2 hours from removal to completion (also want to mention that was my first time, and I have essential tremor, so my hands shake terribly and I was still able to do this with ease)! The key with this gel polish is to let it cure for a full 60-90 seconds between every coat, and I did use 3 coats of the Nude Pink Jelly to get an OPI Bubble Bath effect. I’ll never go to a nail salon again. Now I just want to order more gel colors!
