I love this so much! I struggle with biting my nails, so I hate spending money at a salon because most of the time they fall off. So I bought this to learn how to do it myself and I love it. Is super easy to use and my nails last way longer than they did when I got them done in the salon.

If you’re a beginner this is a good kit to start with but if you’re looking for quality I think the tips will let you down a bit. They’re too bendy and too thin, even weak. A few of them broke right in the middle vertically so they’re not as good for durability. On the other hand the glue works wonders, I think it’s the best on the market.

Used this products 3 times and loved it. The product itself was strong and lasted longer than expected. When I've gotten gelx manicures in the past they lasted maybe 4 days, and this will last about a week, so it's way more cost effective with press ons. On the 4th use I loaded up a good bit of product and it touched my skin, which then caused chemical burns under my free edge. I've never had that happen with salon quality gel. So be extra careful when applying not to get it on your skin. I don't think I'll be using it again bc the soreness and itching on my fingertips isn't worth having long nails 😭 back to acrylics for me I guess.

My first time trying to do this myself, the instructions were easy to follow but be careful! The light flash cures the nail glue extremely fast so be careful not to move it and that the nail is where you want it before placing it under the light. Still keep it there for the full time per the instructions but I found that it stuck very very fast. I ordered the short stilleto nails and still had to trim them down quite a bit as they were very long. Overall, they've been holding out well, over a week now and still no chips and don't seem to be coming off anytime soon. Would definitely recommend if you're trying to save money and are comfortable trying this on your own it's a great product

UPDATE: I’m still really happy with the product. With proper application, they can easily last 3 weeks. The method of application gets really close to the cuticle so you still look like you have a fresh set after a week. I ended up ordering a cheap nail drill to help remove them quickly and to help clean up the cuticle area when I apply the gel tips if any of the glue spills out. Practice makes perfect. The only times the tips have broke is because I applied them quickly and messed up the application. Original review: I ordered the square tops and they are super easy to use. Watch YouTube videos on how to apply gel x because the instructions sent with the kit is very basic. I only used the products that came with the kit to apply the nails, but investing in a nail drill set will make the process super quick and will help the nails look seamless + make removal way faster. It took me a while the first try but the results are really good if you’re patient and take your time. I used a sheer/jelly gel nail polish as the base color on the nails which gave them a more natural color. This is my second attempt at applying the nails. Removal isn’t that difficult since the gel tip dissolves in acetone too
