First, the good. Arrived in two days. Seals well to standard 1L and 2L bottles and the poppet valve does not appear to leak. Will update my review once I let a bottle sit with it a few days if it leaks. Second the bad. The product information states " equiped with extra 4 o-rings in a small bag". Nope. Just the o-ring that comes already fitted. No extras. Fortunately I have lots of these (have 2 5g corny kegs with all the extra gaskets and bits for maintenance) so it should not be an issue. However if this is the ONLY ball lock device you have that is a bit of a bummer. Minus 1 star for not giving everything stated. ... show more

My molded plastic version of this product held up for about six months before splitting in half, and never screwed on properly to bottle tops without a lot of resistance. You can immediately feel the weightiness and quality of this product in the hand, and it is way more functional; it screws off and on with ease, comes with backup gaskets for a tight fit, and is just so much higher quality for only a few dollars more than the plastic versions of the same.     • Well made but a VERY tight fit and doesn't seal perfectly.
I use this to carbonate water in soda bottles. My similar adapters made of plastic work fine, but this one seems a bit oversize as it is very hard to get the CO2 fitting onto the stem, and when you do finally get it on, it leaks gas a bit (which is OK for short spells but you wouldn't want to leave it on very long). Should last forever (with perhaps a new O ring someday). ... show more

I originally bought a plastic bottle filler that got some wine attached to the inside that I couldn't clean. I thought an aluminum or metal version would clean better. While that may be true to this design doesn't function well. When you depress the filler in the bottom of the bottle, the wine flows slowly. Then when it finally fills the bottle and you want to slowly top it off, it doesn't want to flow at all. I gave up on it and went back to my plastic version. ... show more

This is exactly what I needed to make my own home-built carbonation setup. Don't waste your time with the plastic bottle cap fillers, they're garbage. This one screwed on tight the first time and is much easier to screw/unscrew than the plastic types. Great product! I'm a homebrewer and have used the old red and black plastic fillers with a plastic white tube attached. This one is far superior - well made and easy to clean/use. The one relatively small gripe I have is that it fills as slowly as the old plastic tips I was using - a slight pain but no big deal.

This was for my wife she wanted to make her own fizzy water. She looked all over and had settled on a few different ones. Then ask what I thought I liked the extra o rings that came with it. It has worked great and is easy to use no leakage when you remove the quick connect from the co2 bottle

We recently purchased this when we converted our Kegerator into a home seltzer water machine. Even my kids get excited about making seltzer water because they get to put the fitting on and help make the water.
