I purchased this pump for it's ability to put up 160 lbs. of pressure in a tire. The pump it self was in perfect shape. Great fit and finish. However, the filling head leaked air, making it un-useable. Fortunately, I had a spare fill head that fit, problem solved. I feel this was a minor fluke in quality control. The pump is well constructed, and comes in a good, zippered case. I was able to put 120 lbs. of pressure in my tires easily. I did not contact the seller, as this was a minor problem. I had high hopes for this tire pump- slick marketing content on Amazon, heavy duty construction, high purchase ratings. But the number of quality issues I have encountered are really disappointing. The first time I ordered this pump, the hinge pin was defective, it fell right out when I took the pump out of the case. You can see this in the first 3 pictures attached to my review. Whoever was in charge of quality control for that unit going out should be fired. Luckily Amazon has a great return policy and process I followed. Second time, the hinge pin does not fall out, so that is progress. But the pressure gauge display is not accurate. You can see in my other pictures, it is off by at least 4PSI when I use a good quality air gauge. And to make things worse, if you are pumping up a tire, disconnect the hose from the valve stem, then attach it again, the tire pressure on the Beelord foot pump jumps by a few PSI when the air pressure in the tire has remained constant! Two design issues in addition to point out- for the small size, it takes a long time to pump up a tire. I compared to a standard upright bicycle pump I was using, this unit seems slower even though I am using my leg instead of my arms. Second, the marketing hype to have an analog dial gauge read 160PSI is really useless for most average people filling up tires, and the problem is you cannot easily see granular tire pressure from say 32PSI to 34 PSI and increments under 50PSI which is what most car tires and bicycle tires fill to. Even a road bike is fine at 100PSI , although I can't see many serious cyclists lugging a unit around like this one. I guess I should have got the digital version vs analog one. The case is nice to have, and the metal construction does appear solid. I have no idea how long this pump will hold up over time, but my out of the box first impressions , after having to return the first unit, are poor. I already own a separate tire pressure gauge, but for those of you that don't, you want to add one to your shopping cart if you plan to purchase this bicycle foot pump. I have since found what I think is a better alternative foot pump at less than half the price- it is more lightweight and appears to pump a higher volume of air, but does not come with a carrying case.
