  • Great little emergency air supply
Color: Black
This is a wonderful item to keep with you on those long bike treks that can be a lifesaver in the event of a tire problem. Compared to a conventional pump, it's way smaller and lighter to carry, and should you need it, it will have you on the road again in just a few seconds. It's a small, solid unit that looks like it would last forever. Machined nicely and precisely, it fits all of the tires I've tried it on easily and securely, operating without leaks or other problems. I've tried three brands of CO2 cartridges and they've all fit perfectly. As other reviewers point out, you need to watch the O-ring. Mine came out the first time I tested it...a thin coating of vaseline seems to have helped it seat better and it hasn't happened since. If you have aging, arthritic hands like mine, it's also a terrific way to inflate your tires without coming the aches and pains a conventional pump causes. You do need a fair bit of strength to operate the trigger, but for me it's easier than the grip and motion a conventional pump requires. I did find that the 16g CO2 cartridges are marginal...definitely recommend the larger 25g ones instead. ... show more

  • So jpmuch better than a hand pump
Color: Black
I bought this to replace the one I lost. Very effective and easy to carry. So much better than a hand pump. Once the CO2 cartridge is fully screwed in place, it seals well on the tire valve and will inflate the tire completely. You’ll likely expend the cartridge on one tire, or close to anyway. Being that they are so small, it is easy to lose while riding your bicycle. But in a race, this is so much better than a pump, and as stated takes so much less room. Great product! ... show more

  • Great to have in an under seat pouch.
Color: Black
This is less weight and bulk than using a bike mounted hand pump. Make sure to carry a second C02 if more volume of air is needed for mountain-type tires.

  • Works great, but it unscrewed my valve core upon removal.
Color: Black
This is a great light and small CO2 inflator - quick and easy to repair a puncture on the road. The only problem I had is that the inflator seats so well on the presta valve that when I removed it, it partially unscrewed the valve core and I lost about 40 pounds of pressure before I could hand-tighten it. I only had one CO2 cartridge left, so I had to head home not knowing if the valve core would hold. Plus, I was down way too much on tire pressure to ride safely. ... show more

  • Great little gift to someone that’s into mountain biking
Was a gift to someone that has everything related to mountain biking. Usually do not want to buy something that requires personal preference like this, but was told that this is great for the safety kit to travel with to get him back to the trail head when something happens to the tire. Always a worry even if it’s tubeless. The only thing is that I did not buy extra CO2 cartridge since it only came with 1. Seems to be trusted brand. ... show more

  • Freezes up during inflation and gives you frost bites
The idea is great and it's nice and compact but the inflator is poorly designed. As some other users described, once you start inflation the nozzle freezes up preventing you from pressing and re-activating again. Also, since a substantial force is required after initial spray, you have to squeeze the nozzle with your fingers but the nozzle is aluminum and subsequently really cold from the flow of CO2 and you run a risk of giving yourself a frost bite on your fingers from touching it and continuing to squeeze. ... show more

  • Light, small, and functional
Color: Silver
If this item was any smaller, I'd lose it in my bag. This is key when riding long distances where you need every inch of storaage for other gear. The space taken up by the Trigger Drive and 2 CO2 cartridges is less than an unwieldy pump. The Trigger Drive gets cold when used, due to the pressurized CO2, but not too cold to handle. I got a bit less than 30 lbs in a 1.25 MTB tire. That's enough to get home on, but 2 carts might be necessary for big-tire MTB riding. When you consider having to pump vigorously for about 10 minutes with a pump, I think I'll keep my Trigger Drive. ... show more

  • I love these!
Color: Silver
With my entire family mountain biking, including kids on mountain bike teams, we need a lot of gear. I have four of these now, and there are reasons I keep buying them... they're super tiny and light, and they are great to use. I know people with inflators that are a little easier to use, but they're HUGE. I know that non-threaded CO2 bottles are cheaper, but the inflators for them are HUGE. This is SO tiny and light... it's worth the trade-offs. ... show more
