Great honey, but I'm just glad it comes in a glass jar. So many choices at the grocery store, and not a single non-plastic option. For the raw honey challenged, if your honey crystallizes, you can place it in a pan of warm water over the stove, and it will liquefy.

    • Arrived crystallized and despite following video it never returned to its original consistency!

This is delicious and tasty honey with a very unique wildflower ambiance. Just love it. But it arrived 90% crystallized and despite their detailed video to warm and return it back to an original consistency at a certain temperature, it simply did not happen. I love honey, as does my husband, but crystallized is not so tasty due to the crunchy texture. Unless you use it in hot tea or on hot toast, it is just a thick sugary mess. So that spoiled the overall enjoyment when we received this jar. I devoted over 3 hours using their process as outlined in the video, and a liquid thermometer to ensure the water wasn't too hot (kept it at 110 degrees as suggested) otherwise it would destroy the healthy properties, and quite honestly, it never fully returned to it's smooth consistency as shown in the video. I would stop and stir as it slightly liquified, and It did get slightly loosened, but still had sugar crystals, and a lot of them in clusters throughout. So within a day it had once more solidified. I hate to hold that against the amazing flavor and good price features, but we did purchase five other honeys as well for comparison and not one of them arrived in a solid crystallized condition like this one did, so I do consider this a major negative for the product. I don't know if I would buy again specifically for that reason, as having a spreadable honey to us is a big deal. As their primary business, I would think consistency would be a huge concern. We have determined that the product is obviously shelved 'cold' for longevity, thus the huge crystallized condition it arrives in. Though honey has an eternal shelf life for the most part, by comparing this to 5 other honeys that we received in their perfectly smooth condition which allowed us the full experience of enjoying flavor, viscosity, and clarity of the product for visual appreciation, we both agreed that this honey was a bit of a let down and a disappointment as it was pretty much hard as a rock upon arrival. This honey is wonderful! My only gripe is instead of the deep amber color it usually has, the batch I recieved looked like it was a light/dull color and had been sitting for quite some time.

The entire contents of the jar is one giant crystallized clump. Can’t spread it or eat it by the spoonful due to the fact it’s a giant clump that has a gritty, sandy texture. It’s good in hot tea. I would not purchase this again or recommend it. 12/1/22 GREAT customer service. After posting my original 3star review, Rebecca from the company contacted me providing info on how to get the honey to a smooth consistency & to offer a refund. The fact that a customer service representative reached out goes a long way in my book. I’ve changed my original 3 star review to 4 stars because of that. First time buying this honey and not sure if it is supposed to be this hard crystallized clumpy mess. The lid was dented on one side any honey was spilling out all over the sides of the jar when I got it. It was a sticky mess. The flavor is quite sweet and good. I didn’t expect it to be this consistently so hard to spread on anything. I guess I can use it in tea as it will melt and dissolve. Probably will not buy again. Update: I changed my rating to five stars. This company has outstanding customer service. After I wrote the above review, they offered me a complete refund for the jar of honey. I also told them I was willing to try another jar because it had such delicious flavor and they are going to send me one free of charge! How nice is that! This honey is delicious! Don’t let a sticky jar or the honey being crystallized deter you from enjoying how good it tastes! ... show more

The jar came well wrapped/protected in bubble wrap but a little bit of the honey had seeped from under the lid, so it was just a bit sticky. It is possible because of temp changes the lid might have expanded before it arrived to me. Nothing otherwise was compromised. The honey has a wonderful flavor and I would purchase from them in the future ... show more
