I bought this blanket after buying from another brand that ended up not being waterproof. So far, this blanket has been great! It is a nice material, so I do not mind it being on our bed all the time compared to other "waterproof" blankets. I actually found myself taking a nap underneath it one day! Our two cats LOVE the sherpa material. It is their favorite fabric to make biscuits on AND it seems to be cat scratch proof from "covering" their business (which others were not). One of our cats has a behavioral problem and pees on our bed. As of now, this blanket has been absolutely water proof with no leakage onto our bed. However, this thing takes FOREVER to dry (we have the king sized one). After putting it through the dryer 3 times, we decided to hang it outside to complete the process. If it is not dried quickly, it can start to smell due to moisture in the fabric. Other than that, I will definitely be repurchasing if it continues to remain waterproof after a few accidents.

Nicest looking & feeling dog blanket I’ve purchased to date, and at this stage, I think I’ve bought them all. I have a long-haired German Shepherd & a Fox Hound - around 140lbs of wet, muddy, shedding dog, all told - on a mission to destroy every bedding set I own. I have other dog blankets and they do their job just fine - unfortunately they’re ugly 😐. The colors are typically inspired by swamp water and nuclear waste. So I was excited to find this range. I also love that the sizes go up to a King, many of the waterproof dog blankets stop at 60 x 80, which is a full, I think. Brief breakdown for anyone who’s shopping for a decent dog blanket that doesn’t look like a prop from The Hunger Games: Pros: Great range of sizes - I got a king for my queen bed because I wanted a long drape on each side where their paws can catch as they leap into my bed to make sure I’m covered in mud also 🤦🏻♀️. See attached pics for the drape length. Nice colors! - I ordered the light blue because it will blend with most of my bedding. Except the bedding in the pics 😂. They’re kinda screaming at each other. See attached pics for color. Very soft & reversible - honestly, if this wasn’t called a dog blanket, I’d be happy to use it as a human blanket, it’s that soft & pretty. I also love that it’s reversible and I can keep the cream side up for a neutral look. Pics attached and yes, I know, the blue blanket and the red speckled bedding is a visual disaster 😀. Thickness: it’s not weighty but it’s not super thin either. I would call it an all weather thickness. You wouldn’t want to be hiking in an Alaskan winter with only this to protect you, but it’s a perfect early spring to late fall blanket for most of us. Waterproof-ness: I tested it with a small glass of water and so far, so good. It didn’t seep through and the towel underneath stayed dry. Cons: None yet because I’ve only owned it for a hot minute. If things go off the rails after I wash it, I’ll come back with an edit/update. If not, my review will stay at 5 stars 😊 I hope this is helpful for anyone looking for a dog blanket that is functional & also looks nice.

I can’t say ENOUGH good things about this blanket! We use them to protect our furniture from the tiny retro known as our pet bunny, Florecita. As anyone who owns a pet bun can tell you, no matter how well behaved and litter box trained they are, they will still find ways to spite you. She will get mad at us and purposefully pee where she shouldn’t. Usually on our seats on the couch. Because of these blankets, our couches look brand new! We pull the blankets off when people come over (which makes her mad too because SHE is not the center of attention and will thusly pee outside her box when the guests leave) I will be buying more of these to spread around and have spares. They are also nice and warm and snuggly for yourself. The ONLY problem I have with them is the bigger ones tale FOREVER to dry when washed. But still worth the extra work to have our house protected from the tiny terror.

I do not own a dog... yeah, we use it it foe that... and it is great. Comfortable, looks nice and unassuming when guests come over, and it stops the fluid from getting all over the sheets. Laundering is easy, drying takes a LONG time and do not use fabic softener is you want the thing to stay absorbant rather than repellent. Either wasy fluid will stay off the target.

Amazing. I don’t have a dog. :) I use it for play time. It’s fantastic. It looks and feels like a normal soft blanket. You’d never be able to tell it’s waterproof. It’s also cozy and heavy so when you’re not using it for that… you could totally just have it around as a snuggle blanket. I have a queen sized bed and bought a king sized blanket and I’m glad I did because it covers the whole bed with room to spare, I can tuck it in or not. It doesn’t slip around. And it definitely works. I tend to lose a lot of liquid… and nothing seeped through at all. Incredible. The only issue is that it doesn’t “absorb” everything, especially the stickier stuff, it just all settles on the surface. So it can be a bit of a swamp on top, but it’s better than soaking into everything! As other people said it’s easy to wash but takes forever to dry so hopefully you have your own washer dryer if you’re someone who plays daily. But it’s a great great choice!!

Absolutely love these blankets. Have them on every bed in the house as we have an older lab that has accidents some times. You can see as soon as they are wet. They wash up really well. They do take 2 times through the dryer to get dry. They are soft and warm. We did have one that the binding around the outer edge came off of a 3 ft section but I have a sewing machine and fixed it right up. They cover the whole bed perfectly. I was worried they would be too heavy but they are not bad at all.
