Is washing the Queen/King sizes (86"x90" / 86"x108") difficult? Large sizes become very heavy when wet. Household washing machines are NOT recommended for cleaning. If cleaning is necessary, please send it to a professional laundry service. Note: The waterproof layer may reduce performance after washing. Is it truly waterproof? Will pet accidents soak through to my couch? Yes, the TPU membrane effectively protects your furniture. We recommend cleaning spills promptly, as prolonged exposure or heavy saturation may eventually lead to seepage through the seams. Why does it take so long to dry? Any tips for faster drying? The internal TPU waterproof layer restricts airflow, which extends drying time. To speed things up, we recommend using wool dryer balls and tumbling on low heat. Pausing to flip the blanket every 30–40 minutes will also help release trapped moisture. I have concerns about the thickness of the blanket？ Our blankets are designed to be plush, it may appear thin from vacuuum packaging-wash& tumble dry low to restore fluffiness. Due to its design, we recommend using vacuum bags for space-saving storage. Will my dog's claws snag or pull the fabric? Sharp nails may cause minor surface snags but rarely pierce the fabric. For pets that love to scratch, you might consider flipping the blanket to the other side or keeping a spare on hand. This is a great product; soft, waterproof and durable. I have purchased several and recommend it to others. But you must adjust how you wash and dry it. 1) Wash on cool. Because it is waterproof the high spin cycle will not remove the water and it will be heavy and dripping. 2) Put in the dryer at the lowest setting for 20-30 minutes depending on size. Do NOT dry on high heat. 3) Remove from the dryer and hang to completely dry. Because it is waterproof you will have to flip it over to dry both sides. Dries perfectly hanging over a railing or on a clothesline as long as you flip it to dry both sides. It will take some time to thoroughly dry. 4) Because it takes some time to dry, you may decide to purchase a Queen instead of a King. ... show more

Ordered Monday received Tuesday washed Wednesday. Now it’s Thursday and the dog won’t get off the bed. Old man dog. New medication doesn’t allow bladder to completely empty at any point so he dribbles, especially in his sleep. Big bummer because I actually sleep in this bed that he truly believes belongs to him. It didn’t take long to test the waterproof feature of our new blanket. I knew it would be fine and it was. We have a lot of Bedsure products and this blanket actually replaces another that looked just like it, but was not waterproof. That one was a few years old and it seems they have improved because even the fabric is nicer and softer. I am very happy with the purchase. The blanket lies nicely over the bed and does not seem to get quite as warm as the last one did even though it is waterproof. I cannot tell at all that it is different from any other non-waterproof blanket. It does not have a plastic liner in between two pieces of cloth for instance. It is just a really nice soft, plush blanket that happens to be waterproof. I am very happy with it. And it does not make any noise like I have heard some other waterproof blankets make. As with all of these waterproof blankets, they are soaking wet at the end of a normal laundry cycle and require an extra spin cycle to get the water out. It makes sense right? The layers hold the water so it won’t go through the blanket. At least you know it’s working. Also, you do not want to dry it on too high of a temperature or the Sherpa side will lose its soft fluffiness and become tighter and harder making the blanket much less appealing, at least for me. I don’t think the dog would care since he sleeps on the soft velvety side for now. Anyway, drying all of these waterproof Sherpa blankets of any brand takes forever. This one has zero odor and came out of the laundry fabulous. I am very happy with it. I purchased a king size blanket for a queen size bed, and it drapes perfectly and even when the dog moves all around and bundles up the blanket, it doesn’t come up and expose the rest of the bed like some of my other blankets do ... show more

Bedsure Waterproof Blankets are well worth the investment! I have them for all of our beds and for my sofa and even put the twin size ones on my pet’s bed at times. These were life savers after my dog’s bladder surgery. He was leaking the first few days & we couldn’t bathe him for 4 weeks, so he was not smelling his best! We would use this blankets, wash them every couple of days and repeat. No getting our own covers dirty or wet. No fluids go through at all! Nicest looking & feeling dog blanket I’ve purchased to date, and at this stage, I think I’ve bought them all. I have a long-haired German Shepherd & a Fox Hound - around 140lbs of wet, muddy, shedding dog, all told - on a mission to destroy every bedding set I own. I have other dog blankets and they do their job just fine - unfortunately they’re ugly 😐. The colors are typically inspired by swamp water and nuclear waste. So I was excited to find this range. I also love that the sizes go up to a King, many of the waterproof dog blankets stop at 60 x 80, which is a full, I think. Brief breakdown for anyone who’s shopping for a decent dog blanket that doesn’t look like a prop from The Hunger Games: Pros: Great range of sizes - I got a king for my queen bed because I wanted a long drape on each side where their paws can catch as they leap into my bed to make sure I’m covered in mud also 🤦🏻♀️. See attached pics for the drape length. Nice colors! - I ordered the light blue because it will blend with most of my bedding. Except the bedding in the pics 😂. They’re kinda screaming at each other. See attached pics for color. Very soft & reversible - honestly, if this wasn’t called a dog blanket, I’d be happy to use it as a human blanket, it’s that soft & pretty. I also love that it’s reversible and I can keep the cream side up for a neutral look. Pics attached and yes, I know, the blue blanket and the red speckled bedding is a visual disaster 😀. Thickness: it’s not weighty but it’s not super thin either. I would call it an all weather thickness. You wouldn’t want to be hiking in an Alaskan winter with only this to protect you, but it’s a perfect early spring to late fall blanket for most of us. Waterproof-ness: I tested it with a small glass of water and so far, so good. It didn’t seep through and the towel underneath stayed dry. Cons: None yet because I’ve only owned it for a hot minute. If things go off the rails after I wash it, I’ll come back with an edit/update. Performance and Value I am using this specifically as liner in my pup's crate and I am really happy with the performance. The waterproof layer is a lifesaver for those inevitable overnight accidents. It is much easier to toss this in the wash than it is to scrub a whole crate pad. For the price, I think the value is great. The sherpa side is incredibly soft, so my puppy actually enjoys nesting in it instead of trying to shred it. Durability and Quality I was a bit worried about the durability since my puppy likes to dig and scratch before settling down for a nap. So far, the stitching has held up perfectly. The quality is surprising for a budget brand. It has already survived multiple high heat washes. It fits a standard medium crate size well without bunching up too much. This is my Amazon review for the Bedsure Cat Blanket for Indoor Cats - Waterproof Calming Cat Blankets for Couch Bed Protection, Sherpa Fleece Pet Blanket, Soft Plush Reversible Throw Furniture Protector, 60"x50", Green. I ordered this soft blanket for my dog, not only to line his bed at times but to also cover him at times. He loves to come and snuggle under my cover, lol, so I bought one for home that matches his bed color too. He actually really likes his new blanket. I covered half his bed wth it to see where he would choose to go. He chose to go to the side with his new green blanket, sniff it, and then lie on top of his new blanket. That was a while ago, and he is now sleeping on it. So, he likes his new blanket. Great! What I like about it is the silky softness of it. The dual velvety softness on one side and the sherpa softness for him on the other side feels great. It is a great value for the price, size, and quality received. I've bought three of this blanket in king size to cover our bed and L-shaped sofa. We have a formerly feral kitty who sometimes feels a little territorial and wants to claim the places his favorite humans curl up in, and these blankets keep us from losing our minds. Before we bought these, our lives were a horrible combination of strategic pee pads, preventative boxes/obstacles and freshly scrubbed cushions drying outside. I went through so much enzyme cleaner in a three-month window, I think I permanently altered my sense of smell. To be totally transparent, these are only waterproof in the short term. If you catch whatever liquid spill happens within the first half hour or so, they work exactly as intended. We've dumped half a bottle of water on the blanket to test this and it worked great. However, we've discovered that if the cat pees on them and we don't find it for a few hours, the smell (and the tiniest amount of liquid) seeps through to the fabrics underneath. To alleviate this, we fold the ones on the couch in half to only cover the seat cushions; the double layering prevents all liquid and smell penetration, even if we're gone all day. On a happier note, even if these blankets weren't waterproof I'd still love them. The smooth velvet texture is very plush and the Sherpa texture is so cozy and warm. The smooth side is a true velvet and changes colors depending on how you run your hands across them, plus the tight weave makes it resistant to kitty claws (my boys love making biscuits). Having one of these blankets layered over our comforter in the winter was such a luxury this year, and I'm excited to get more in other colors for other seasons! ... show more
