I have a yellow lab who sheds like crazy several times per year. That’s Maggie the fur factory in the photo. I use a larger version of this blanket as a sofa cover during shedding season. They are reasonably priced so I have several for sofa and loveseat; when one is in the laundry I can use another. Since the throw-blanket size was on BF sale I bought a few to use as throw blankets too. Since they match the larger blankets perfectly I think it looks neater that way. I’m sure some of you are thinking “Lady are you nuts, using a dark brown sofa cover/blanket, when the dog is shedding white fur?!” But the fur doesn’t stick to the blanket! Anyone who has a shedding dog knows the lengths (and cost) we go thru to keep our home, clothing and car looking somewhat presentable during shedding season. Some fabrics are fur-magnets and some are not. This is not. Also doesn’t pick up lint. The texture is slightly furry, and feels very soft & cozy, but the fur is not long enough to get lumpy-looking. I’ve washed these blankets dozens of times and they still look new. I don’t baby them. Regular warm wash and I toss them in the dryer with a dryer sheet. They dry fast, no wrinkles, it’s a great fabric. They don’t get staticky. One side has a bit more sheen while the other side is more matte. I really like this blanket. It’s a great value and it’s soft, warm and beautiful. My dog absolutely loves it too. So now I have bought three because he took over one of them.     • Love The Blankets, Exactly as Listed!

I purchased this KING size blanket in the TEAL & the PURPLE because these exact colors are the exact colors of my bedroom decor & I like to switch the colors around, but it's hard to find the exact colors sometimes. As with any new cloth item I buy I wash it before using it first, did both of these King sized blankets separately through my older model top load w/agitator washing machine on medium size load with original liquid Tide, a lil amount original Downy liquid softener & smell good pellets & then older front load dryer with a Bounce pet static sheet & 2 wool dryer balls. The color is just as beautiful & bright as it was in the pictures on Amazon, the texture is super soft on both sides of blanket, my dryer lint screen had very little to no lint on it afterwards (I had read quite a few reviews before ordering & some had said they got LOTS of lint & pilling after washing/drying) I didn't. These blankets are not heavy at all, but warm enough for year round in Florida. I live in North Central Florida & we get a lil cold weather from time to time, last night 11/23/23 was too cool for me so I used the PURPLE blanket & stayed warm & toasty. The blanket fit my King size bed perfectly, I have a 4" memory foam topper on top of my double sided mattress & was able to tuck it in at foot w/top sheet & have enough overhang on both sides to reach middle of mattress thickness, so it covered my whole body (I'm 5'11" & 335lb female) on my side of bed, 2 medium & 1 large dogs sleep on other side of bed on top of covers. They move around alot, up/down on bed throughout the day/night & didn't make any tears in material with their "hole digging" for their "spot" to lay in lol. So I'd say the material is tough enough & good quality. Worth the price! Will buy a few more so I can get the exact colors I want & have plenty to last me a long time!! I absolutely love this blanket. I ordered 4 for myself and coworkers, each in different colors. The colors are not 100% a match from what it looks like online, but still very pretty. But the best part about these blankets is that they are SOFT SOFT SOFT. Great quality-perfect everything. It does shed a little though. Be mindful that they shed some little tiny fuzzballs that get all over your clothing...but who cares?! Get you one of these! ... show more

We moved to a smaller retirement house with less room to store extra bedding and these are much easier to fold and store on a shelf than bulky quilts. As someone who sleeps very warm, one of these seemingly thin fleece blankets, along with normal bedsheets gets me through the winter where I live (it rarely drops below freezing though). On the coldest nights, I'll toss on a second over the first. Down comforters or flannel are way too warm for my environment. At the same time, they are light enough to work in the summer too. I like the feel of the fleece material. I've bought at least four of these in different sizes and colors, some as gifts for others. I feel like they are good quality and reasonably priced.
