FYI Make sure to read reviews for the version you want before purchasing. The cheaper version on this listing is 80% feather 20% down. The version I purchased is 75% down. In a down blanket, higher down content is what you want, so reviews may differ. This comforter is honestly way better than I could have hoped for at this price point. I work at a high end hotel and have been dreaming of having a blanket so nice, luckily, this is a perfect dupe. The quality is reminiscent of a $300+ comforter AND this comes with clean/skin safe certifications to feel good about. Unlike most overpriced Amazon sellers, you can really tell this brand takes their products seriously and cares about what they’re selling. I got a queen size for my queen mattress and the overhang off the bed is perfect. Unless you have a tall bed or like to tuck it under the mattress, I’d order it to match the bed size you have. It is warm enough to stay toasty under in the northern winter but not too warm that you’re sweating. The product images certainly dramatize the level of fluff, but even so, it is still lofty and fluffy enough to look and feel luxurious. To really fluff it out I followed others advice to vigorously shake it, air fluff it in the drier, and pull apart the filling of each square from each side of the blanket. My ONLY complaints are that some of the outer squares are mega packed with down fibers and it is a bit crinkly and noisy moving around, but that’s mostly due to the thick cotton shell. Other than that, this is a perfect comforter and money well spent.

I wasn’t sure when the box showed up so small and item was really compacted. I was worried this wouldn’t be as fluffy as the photos showed but after opening it up and letting it air out it fluffed up. It’s a soft blanket but it is a little “crunchy” sounding when you move around. I think it will soften up after some use and not be so “crunchy” sounding. I’ll update on it after I use it a bit. Overall I am happy with the blanket.

I have used down comforters for too many years to count and owned insert from inexpensive to more expensive. I like that they breathe as I'm a hot sleeper. One thing I learned is that a cotton cover is recommended to increase the longevity of the down.. I knew I wanted a down insert that was primarily down filled with lower feather count, who doesn't hate poking feathers. My wish list included a 100% goose down insert of a lesser loft and a considerably higher price, even on sale. So when the price of this insert hit my goal budget, I jumped on it. I'm so glad that I did because it exceeds my expectations. One I wasn't expecting much loft, because duck down is smaller that goose down but because the fill power was a little higher than the goose down insert I was considering I wasn't expecting much loft. To my delight this insert, within 48 hours, and yes let the insert breathe for 48 hours, was nice and fluffy. Noise level of the insert is negligé, softness of the shell pleasant, and movement of down between baffles non-existent. Who could ask for me in a down insert. Hope you find the same pleasure in owning this down insert as I have.

Overall good, and definitely warm and cozy! I will say it's not as quiet as they describe and there's a smell when you first open it (I'd compare it to those cloth bags you can get rice in smell wise). The feathers also seem to be dispersed unequally with the middle squares being full of feathers and puffy while the outside squares look to only be about half full.
