That's a high compliment, because that person really dislikes firm mattresses, rather liking to sink into a mattress. This isn't THAT soft, but we all regard this as a very nice mattress that most people will really like. This 10 inch BedStory mattress has great features and quality. It has a nice balance between being supportively firm and comfortably cushioned. I love how durable and structurally sound it is knowing that it was delivered compressed inside a box. I did allow the 3 days for it to fully expand while testing it out during that time just from excitement and intrigue. I have had really enjoyable sleep and my body feels relaxed and rested since using this mattress. I consider the price reasonable for the overall comfort and support, the sturdy/thick construction and the quality of the mattress. I would recommend.

This mattress is a great low cost alternative to more expensive brands. The mattress arrives in a box and needs to be aired out for a few days to reach maximum thickness. It has worked great for my teenager. The mattress is standard queen sizing. I am very happy with the quality of this mattress and would order again if needing a low cost-high quality option.

I've had Stearns and Foster mattresses for years, and the high end of their mattresses are mostly individually pocketed coils and a stiffer edge to keep its shape, and for the very high end ones, memory foam on top. This BedStory Queen mattress has those same features, including the cooling memory foam. I will not claim it has the same feel as S&F or that it will have the same famous durabilty. But at 10% of the price, it's close enough. I am confident it will be good for a few years. It's thinner at "only" 10 inches, which used to be a thick mattress (I remember flipping my 8 inch Simmons that could be used either way up) but now some mattresses are ridiculously thick. At 10 inches you'll have an easy time putting a fitted sheet on it. The individually pocketed coils allow them respond individually to your body when you roll or move on the mattress, making for greater comfort. They also respond individually when the mattress is compressed and rolled up for shipping! And none the worse when you unpack it and it returns to full size. It's really a great design feature. I don't think I would want a purely foam mattress even if I could get it delivered this way, because I can move easier on an innerspring mattress. I've never had a foam mattress give that level of support. But this is a matter of your own preference.

Queen sized mattress, arrived rolled/sealed in rectangular box, with quick release and has reinforced coils. The mattress is a bit “springy” in the sense that there’s a bit of “bounce” noted, so if you like a mattress that has little “movement” with sitting/rolling, then this may not be the mattress for you. It does have fairly decent support though to hips/back, especially for a side sleeper like myself. (Valued at $229.99 at time of review)

The hybrid construction provides the perfect balance of support and comfort. I also appreciate that it’s fiberglass-free and CertiPUR-US certified, giving me peace of mind about the materials. The mattress has just the right amount of firmness while still being cozy, allowing me to sink in without feeling stuck. My previous mattress had a pillow top so this one ended up being shorter at 10" so it's been an adjustment visually and with my preference so keep in mind the inches before you order.

Excellent quality for the price point! We replaced an expensive mattress that didn't meet our expectations with this one and it has been a great decision. The support is fantastic and the bed expanded quickly after opening; although the corners took about a week to fully puff up. After two weeks of use, we've both slept much better and I've noticed significantly less back and leg pain compared to the $1000 mattress we returned. Hoping this mattress holds up long term but so far we are extremely happy!
