  • Helps reduce sagging between slats and improves overall mattress stability. So don't SAG! :D
This bunkie board is the definition of “boring solution, excellent results.” It’s a thin king size board, 78 by 72 inches, meant to create a more solid surface under a mattress on a platform bed or box spring. It adds support where slats sometimes leave gaps, and it can make the mattress feel more even and stable. The “comfortable” part is really about what it helps the mattress do, not about the board being cozy by itself. Installing it is easy, remove the mattress, set the board flat, put the mattress back, then enjoy a bed that feels less like a hammock. The thin profile is a plus because it doesn’t raise bed height much, which keeps sheets fitting normally. It also helps reduce noise by limiting mattress movement against slats, though it can’t silence a frame that’s already loose. Because it’s king size, it’s still a large piece to wrangle, and two people make it much easier. In daily use, it improves support and can help extend mattress life by preventing uneven wear from wide slat spacing. It works especially well for foam and hybrid mattresses that prefer a continuous base. It can also make a bed feel slightly firmer, which is great for some sleepers and a surprise for others. If the bed frame flexes or has broken slats, this board helps, but it’s not a structural miracle worker. Overall, it’s a practical support upgrade that reduces sag, improves stability, and cuts down on noise for many bed setups. It’s lightweight, thin, and easier than dealing with a bulky box spring. The main downsides are king size handling and the fact it depends on a decent frame to really shine. For anyone who wants a firmer feel and fewer squeaks, it’s a solid purchase. :D Good Things 👍 👍 Creates a flatter, more supportive surface under the mattress 👍 Thin design keeps bed height and sheet fit more normal 👍 Helps reduce slat-related squeaks and shifting 👍 Lightweight compared to traditional box springs 👍 Useful for foam and hybrid mattresses needing solid support Bad Things 👎 👎 Large king size piece can be awkward to move alone 👎 Can make mattress feel firmer than before 👎 Won’t fully fix noisy or unstable frames with loose joints 👎 May slide slightly depending on frame design 👎 Needs a reasonably solid base underneath for best results ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money. Go get plywood
Trash. No noticeable effect using it between a titan lice mattress and a metal frame with 13 slats and a center support system. The sagging between the metal slats is the same as before. These are made of pliable cardboard- not a rigid material. The covers are made of the same cheap recycled “cloth-like” material that they make biodegradable disposable bags of in countries like India and Thailand. It ripped while assembling. If the materials are not rigid or durable enough to hold their own weight during assembly, they are not going to hold up hundreds of pounds of mattresses and human for long. My measurements and other features do not match the images. After looking at the product page, I suspect the seller has used this SKU to sell other similar items that have received mixed reviews. ... show more

  • Easy set up, good foundation Easy set up, good foundation
This bunkie board is a good replacement for a box spring if you are looking for a low profile alternative. This set comes in two pieces that velcro together. It arrives folded up in a compact box. Assembly is quick and easy and takes less than a minute to set up on the bed frame. It functions well and offers a much firmer base for your mattress than a traditional box spring. It fit on the frame well and covered the area that should be covered with no issues. It seems to be pretty sturdy and gives a great foundation for the mattress. Overall, I'm happy with it. ... show more

  • Convenient Bunkie Board, Easy to Transport
This bunkie board is lightweight and easy to move, thanks to its design with more seams. While it’s not as durable as a solid board, it’s supportive and perfect for temporary setups or situations where portability is important. However, for a more permanent solution a more solid single board is superior. ... show more

  • Not so good
Very unimpressed I actually sent it back. It literally was a cardboard covered with some kind of felt as soon as I put the mattress on it it was moving. It wasn’t really strong. I do not recommend this at all unless you have a bed that has like a lot of slats

  • Total Game Changer for Our Mattress , So Glad I Got This!
I’m genuinely so happy I got this King Size Bunkie Board. We’ve been using a bed frame without a box spring, and over time, our mattress just started sinking way too much especially since we’re on the heavier side. It got to the point where it was affecting our sleep and my back was paying the price. After adding this bunkie board, the difference was immediate. It gave the mattress the support it was missing and completely changed the feel firmer, more even, and way more comfortable. I honestly didn’t expect such a big improvement from something so light and thin, but it really delivered. It also helped minimize noise and movement, which is a bonus. And considering how much better we’re sleeping now, it definitely saved my back and my wallet no need to replace the mattress just yet! If you’re dealing with a sagging mattress on a platform bed, especially without a box spring, this is 100% worth it. ... show more

  • So far so good So far so good
This is a great addition to my king size bed. I have a metal frame bed that does support the use of platform type mattresses, but they seem to move around on the frame a lot. I have a Sleep Number mattress and the rails of the bed were really not close enough together to do it justice. I got this board in order to solve that problem and it works perfectly. ... show more
