We're using this as just a rowboat, not for hunting. We have a 70-pound dog, and this boat is stable even when she jumps around and lunges at birds when they fly by. No other boat was that stable and yet big enough for the three of us, yet small enough to carry. The compartments on the end are great for towels, sunscreen, and whatever else we want to take with us. We bought a floatation cushion that we can sit on, for the end without the seat. The two of us can carry this, but it is not easy. It weighs 100 pounds or so. We back down the boat launch ramp and lower it over the side of the truck into the water. ... show more

This boat is just a very expensive lawn ornament since the papers it came with are not sufficient to title it in my sate (Florida). Tried contacting Amazon...no help

    • great boat for lots of gear
This boat is great! It is easy to paddle, it tracks straight, and is super stable. I weigh 265 and am 6'4", I can stand up and paddle it like an SUP no problem, even with a second person aboard. It will go in 3-4" of water no problem. It isn't as fast as a Kayak, due to the hull design, but slow and steady it certainly is. I wouldn't take it on a long trip, but I have paddled it 2-3 miles before without getting tired. I have had mine for 8-9 years, stored in the sun, it is holding up just fine. There is lots of room and storage, my dog likes to ride on the front bow cover. If you get a medium sized cooler, your guest can sit on that as a seat, and hand you cold drinks! Every friend that has tried it loves it, even people that have never paddled a boat before. -- In Texas, you don't need a title, due to the size and the fact that it is a paddle powered boat. I don't know what the bad review is all about.?? This boat is a little heavy, but everyone loves it in the water. I say, get one, they are fun! It is like the pick up truck of Kayaks!
