We purchased this pedal boat after attempting to buy it locally at 2 stores. One store canceled the order a few days after we placed it and the other store delivered a boat that had been sitting in the lot for 9 months uncovered. It was in terrible shape. As a last resort, we ordered from Amazon. We honestly did not think it would arrive. To our surprise, it arrived in 2 days and in perfect condition. We took it out on the lake this past weekend and had a lot of fun. It is a workout for your legs! It is a bit hard to handle in windy conditions, especially with the top up. it seems very stable on the water. Love, love love!! Such a fun little boat. It's the fishing model so there's places for your rod and other fishing gear. It has a shade for top so you can get out of the sun. Great exercise.nits so much fun you forget you are working out.

Arrived ahead of schedule, completely undamaged. I like the adjustable seat backs. I'm short, so fixed seats were always too far from the pedals. My only concern is that the front and rear handles are made into the black molding that surrounds the edge of the boat and acts as a bumper. They are riveted onto the boat and seem secure to move it when the boat is empty. Hoping they'll hold up getting the boat out of the lake later when it has taken on water. ... show more

Arrived on time and in great condition. However, one of the straps to secure the canopy overhead disintegrated on first attempt to place it; we were able to secure it with a rope. We definitely we need to find a replacement strap. We got it on the water this week, our fun & enjoyment was not hampered. I agree, it does induce a good workout on a breezy day. The company was helpful in getting the boat delivered and working with a third party to do this. The boat itself is fine, a a childhood dream, but was disappointed when unwrapping it. It says don’t use until you read owners manual, and one was not provided. It had part of the bumper scraped off and a big scratch on top like it has been dropped somewhere along the way. ... show more

    • The first two defected Pelican pedal boats were broken when delivered . Very disappointed
The first Pedal boat was defected. Then I received a replacement and that was defected. The bar and shaft under the boat was broken. I requested a third boat and it arrived in good shape. I should only be charged for one boat. The other two were returned by an unknown carrier.
