I was surprised how this worked. My kids love finding stuff to look at around the house and outside especially with it not connected to the base. The image quality is actually quite good. Small easy to store away. Came with 10 done slides. Very fun to use.

The magnification goes up until 400x so you could see things like cheek cells and other stuff, but you cant go further than that to see bacteria structures or see the more complex things. You can however take the microscope off the stand, and use it to magnify other things like your pores, hair follicles, or anything in the house honestly. I found a lot of fun with this. Very good price for such high quality. It is all I expected and more. I'm not an expert but this microscope seems very solid. The optical and illumination is very good, and so far the mechanicals are all good. It has all the high end features I wanted but at a very reasonable price. The Wi-Fi feature is so great.
