The Defender does it’s job: so chalk this review up to a neat freak having a little OCD over how it looks after use. It is perfect for traveling with your Beauty Blender. BUT, this little sucker does not clean up very well. I have tried everything: makeup remover, face wash, Dawn, the dishwasher, etc. If I thought running it through the washing machine I would try that. Scratch - I will try tight next.

I love that this has holes to breathe. This will cut down on the bacteria breeding. I normally would keep it in a plastic baggy and that made it feel gross because it was sometimes smelly. Took this on my trip recently and my husband and I both appreciated my makeup sponge having her own “home” and not in the way. Hotel bathrooms can become crowded quickly. This case also cut down on the mess when there were times that I was in a hurry and lacked the opportunity to wash before storing. Not sure how I lived without it!

This keeps my beauty blender in its cage, instead of spinning around in my makeup bag, attracting dust and residue along the way. This seems much more sanitary, and I appreciate the air holes to help it dry and air out after washing. It’s kind of big, but so is my beauty blender, so it’s 👍.

I was gifted the beauty blender makeup sponge and need a breathable holder to keep my sponge dry. Love taking this on trips, since it is soft, and can be tossed into an overnight back. Very satisfied with this purchase!!

I got sick and tired of having a dirty, old beauty blender just flopping around in my makeup bag. I started to wonder if I could attribute it to some minor breakouts. Let me just say, this is a game changer! This silicone case has kept my beauty blender spotless, while still being able to breathe (this is especially important if you wet your beauty blender during use-- it needs air to dry out). I don't use this just for traveling-- my beauty blender stays put in this unless I am using it! Just be aware, it is a bit on the larger side : ) I think that's great though, because it can hold many different shapes and sizes of sponges.

I love my beauty blender but hate traveling with it bc foundation gets all over everything. I’d tried plastic Easter eggs before, but they were too small when the Bb was wet, and I didn’t like that it didn’t have vent holes. This thing is perfect! It will fit the real technique sponge, too. It’s huge, as you can see from the picture it takes up my entire palm and then some. And it can expand if you need to pack more than one. If you travel with your *dirty* beauty blender you need this.
