Full disclosure, I bought my Beats Power Pro 2 earbuds from Apple. I wish I had waited for the Amazon sale. Oh well. That aside these earbuds are the bests Beats earbuds of all the Beats earbuds I’ve used. I’ve used the Beats Solo, Studio Buds Plus, and the Flex-All-Day Wireless earphones. The Beats Power Pro 2 are easy to seat in the ear and the over the ear hook eliminates the need for me to periodically reseat them in my ear while I’m walking (my choice of exercise). I like listening to books as I walk and I walk mostly in and around neighborhoods where the traffic noise can be loud enough to interfere with hearing spoken voice. Once I got the right fit and learned how to activate the ANC , the BPP2 provided me the noise cancellation I needed to clearly voice in the presence of traffic noise. I never once had to reseat them while I was walking. I can’t say that of the other earbuds I’ve used. I did have to turn the volume on my iPhone to full on to hear but the dB output remained below harmful levels. In my experience the fit is comfortable. My walks are long and when I get home I’m not in a hurry to take the BPP2 earbuds out of my ear. I haven’t listened to music with these yet only books. Connectivity was as easy as placing the BPP2 case next to my iPhone and activating pairing mode. The earbuds charge just fine. I usually place them on the charger after my walk and don’t touch them again until the next day when I go walking again. I did notice that when I answered a phone call I loss the noise reduction which made the person on the other end of the phone impossible to hear. For now I chalk that up to me being a newbie and not knowing all the ins and outs of how to operate the earbuds. I sometimes vacillate over my decision to invest in expensive earbuds. However this is one decision I’m feeling pretty good about so far. My color choice was black. P.S. I loved the Beats Fex-All-Day earphones and their price but they just kept breaking. After two pair I gave upon on them.

What I like: 1) They stay in your ears no matter what. 2) Instant connection with Apple devices What needs improvement - noise canceling. No way as good as my Bose earbuds. Voices, though lower, still come through. Even Apple's AirPods have better noise cancellation.

Stopped working just 3 months after starting them up, no sound out of headphones even after performing a reset, also before they stopped working one or both headphones would sound so horribly distorted that you would think you went back in time to when Bluetooth was first invented, battery life is horrible compared to the first gen of these headphone which i own as well.

The good part of these earbuds is there sound quality. The over ear design is also very good for working at the gym. They don't fall out. They also have very good water resistance. The bad part is the inability to control the connection and a terrible charging device. They connect randomly to my phone while still in the case with the lid closed and thus drains the battery. When I try to use them one or both of them are out of juice in the case is empty of juice as well. Sometimes it is impossible to get them to attach to the magnetic charge connectors. Despite the great features and high sound quality, they simply are not usable. I bought a pair of Sony earbuds and have zero problems with them. If Apple can fix the connection and charging problem these would be the best earbuds on the market.

I was going to return these but then I missed the window, these are definitely an upgrade from the 1st Powerbeats, however I’ve noticed that with prolonged use I personally felt as if my ears were burning so I don’t wear them anymore, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a recall.
