I really like this coffee. Of course it's pricier than regular coffee at the store, but it tastes fresh and clean! No bitter notes at all. The flavors really do taste different from each other. It's good to try a few different ones at first. I originally got this as a gift, or I probably wouldn't have ever tried it. My dad loved this box. He got a sample from Ethiopia, Brazil, Canaan and one called the Johnson House Blend (he thought it was ironic that it was our last name and even thought it was custom made lol).     • Very odd flavors, I would not buy for someone as a gift again
I bought this for my brother as one of his birthday gifts. I went to visit him a few months later and noticed the box. I was excited to see it and took it off his shelf. I noticed not much from each bag was used. I asked him about it and he said he tried them but didn't say much. I could tell he didnt want to hurt my feelings so I fixed myself a pot of the dark which I love dark roasts. It was a strange flavor and was NOT good.     • Good coffee accoring to my wife...
I got this sampler as a Christmas gift for my wife, the coffee lover. I figured it would come in an Amazon box with the other items I purchased, but instead it came by itself in the mail in a box that said "Bean Box" all over it. So the surprise was spoiled but my wife said she liked the coffee. Being the attentive husband I am, I paid attention when she commented on the one she liked best and bought a larger quantity of that direct from Bean Box and specified GIFT. You guessed it, it showed up in the mail again in a Bean Box box. I can't win. My advice is if you are planning this as a surprise, have it delivered somewhere else! ... show more
